I 3D print and I just bought my first machine at hobby lobby for making these epoxy tumblers and I’m so excited
Wow! So here I am on a Saturday night shopping around on Amazon for art supplies and I come across alcohol ink. I am thinking the inks are refills for cheap art markers when I see the most beautiful and shiny tumblers made by said inks. I immediately headed to UA-cam to learn more. I can’t wait to watch and learn more about this and different techniques before attempting my own. These tumblers were absolutely gorgeous. I found your directions clear and easy to follow, I was captivated from beginning to end. On to watch more of your videos.

Was a fantastic day at my place close to Tampa as I spray painted several styles of tumblers. I was able to open the french doors and kitchen door. Then I set up my tumbler and did 2 coffee swirl tumblers for first time and they turned out fantastic. I am so excited about them and will make great gifts.
All of them are gorgeous. I would lean toward the one with the raspberry but hard to pick just one.😊

Wow sweet friend Beautiful....blue and white is very pretty but the one with pink is really cool how colors blended. However the one you zig zaged with your finger is my eye candy. Please understand I love them all but that one turned out so cool for the easy way you made that happen. At first I thought Oh no what is she doing but WOW very unique. My brain is on overload thinking of different ways I could do that technique. Great video and you explain things so well. After watching alot of videos on the coffee swirl I made sure to use a good fast set epoxy as it is thicker and when applying heat the ink wont keep changing or being to runny.

I use cup inserts. The company I purchased them from is no longer on Etsy. But search tumbler inserts on Etsy and so many options will pop up!

Also, since you are in an apartment, what kind of space are you using for ventilation? I currently use CrystaLac would like to try using epoxy, just looking for the best set up.

I like to use mica in my epoxy. It’s a bit finer than glitter but you still get that nice shimmering effect.

Depends. If you need two, then two. But at least one after you apply the alcohol ink design.
I feel when I use my heat gun it thins out the epoxy and it becomes too runny. Am I doing something wrong?
Don’t add as much heat next time. You have to play around with it. Try keeping your heart gun further than closer from the tumbler as well.
Have you ever done one that looks like flames?
Yes! Make sure to use yellow and orange to get a flame look. If you use red, adding the white will make the red turn pink
When u say alcohol,what do you mean, is that like rubbing alcohol?
Yes. 91% isopropyl alcohol
