Hated the into sequence so much I stopped before the game started. Came back to it and have enjoyed mostly everything past it. Dead Island 2 is truly an odd bird
I hear you 1000%, what was one of your favorite parts? If it wasn’t for the sheer, wtf factor, I probably would’ve asked for a refund. So many small details kept me going, but then major stuff was so wacky that I didn’t know what to think. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Hope all is well
@@Dog.Dad.Studios just like you, the detail of the city and the combat had me hooked. Story did flop around a bit but the first game was no citizen cane either so it doesn’t bother me. Have to say tho the way the story wrapped did leave me happy and some of the side plots were an absolute joy🤙
Planning on buying it but i wasnt a fan of the arcade parts of the first one , idk i just saw the trailer for it and looked more mature, but the second one is growing on me
@@Dog.Dad.Studios if i remember correctly your points appeared like on a board on teh hud , and as a kid idk i just saw it as arcade machine that had your score on the screen kinda silly now i write it lol. and yeah loved it , the setting was a cool detail
I don't know if you're trying to be facetious, but there were literally 2.5 games that came before this one. With more content/playtime and less graphics.
Nope, both older games came out when I was in school and never played them. That’s why I mentioned it as a disclaimer because the story was so over the top, I wondered if they had set it up in the previous games. I don’t like looking up things before writing the script because it’s not organic. I’m assuming many people played dead island 2 without having played the others. All the best, Dog dad

What do you mean by arcade elements? Did you like the first game?
