His name is Maynard James Keenan, he is the lead singer in Tool, A perfect circle and Puscifer, he is a black belt in jiu jitsu, he has his own vineyard, restaurant and barbershop/record store in Jerome, Arizona. That man is a legend.
He’s def a legend. He’s also a genuinely nice guy. Tool is a four person band with equal parts talent. A Perfect Circle Billy Howerdel who was one of Tools guitar techs prior to that, and Maynard. Puscifer is basically Maynard’s subconscious and he is the main force behind it. Early on they had a revolving door of other members outside of Maynard, but now they have the same members pretty consistently for the most part. Puscifer is a mix of all kinds of music. It’s all amazing.

Maynard James Keenan is a jiu jitsu artist. On UA-cam there is a vid of him taking down a fan rushing the stage and holding him in place..... without missing a beat on his song. He is officially gangster

Glad you react using headphones. Every band Maynard in does excellent sound engineering/mixing.
Just a couple things with Tool. You'll find other songs besides the Pot(which I listened to before this one) Maynard's vocals are mixed in a way might make it harder to hear him because he changes his style and sings to fit the song musically as if his voice was an instrument in the band. May need the lyrics to react along with it. Cheers.

I went to Sessanta at Red Rocks!! Was a trip/concert of a lifetime..Bucket list was to see him live in all 3 bands. MIssion Accomplished!

I didn’t know about them at first. I only knew about Puscifer because they did some songs in the Underworld movies. I loved them upon hearing them and looked em up to see who sang them. I believe he was also in the group A Perfect Circle. I did love some Tool songs years ago so that explained why he sounded so familiar. Look up The Undertaker. Also Rev 22-20. Both I heard in the Underworld movies. Great songs. You’d probably like the song Passive by A Perfect Circle. Another one I heard in a movie. That one was played in Constantine. That one reminds me a bit of this song….
