I'm getting a blower and the rest from him, he verified everything for me and gave me the parts list i needed. My 08 srt8 has 57k miles with a little over 500 whp as of now. I'll be making a UA-cam dedicated to the swap and car as well as doing the swap on a 5.7 I'm building for my daughter's boyfriend charger.
Waiting till I get a 6.1 or 2011-2014 6.4 challenger before I do this, I love my 5.7 charger but engine has a lot of miles on it and don’t know if want to do this to it.
Cant run more than 5 to 6 pounds on a 6.4/392. Dodge put the rings higher up on the piston so the rings lands are super thin. A set of pistons and your good to go. But the bottom end may not like life past 800
They said you need a 2011+ 5.7vvt or 6.4vvt. I just seen a 2008 dodge charger with a blower on it’s probably a full crate motor. 6:15 on this video said the 2009-10 spacing wont fit 🤦🏿♂️ I’m glad I’ve seen this video before I decided to buy something for nothing. My homebody just bought a 2006 300c hemi. He’s going to be pissed
Lol the 5.0 in the name says it all but they actually stopped the 6.1 after 2010 2011-14 they brought the 6.4 in for the next gen srt8’s. Get ur facts straight weirdo

I have a 06 charger daytona rt same color i went with a torqstrom blower for budget supercharger. Love this build 100 %.
This Supercharger kit costs so much it is almost the same price as a crate Hellcat engine by the time you are done and add everything up.

Get the engine rebuilt. Forged pistons, crankshaft, fuel injectors, spark plugs, and lifters. Then a tune till you get the blower.

What do you do about the open rear differential on the Chargers? I can't find a limited slip unit for it anywhere.
Run the serial number on yours its a Mercedes differential . Many lsd Mercedes amg differentials out there
