Hopefully the team at Defier Performance can help me push this RT to its limits! Purchasing a Challenger RT (R/T) 5.7 345 hemi changed my life and how I look at car modification. Some purchase this challenger v8 trim level because it’s just enough power for a daily, or it’s all they could afford. Well here, we like the underdog so it’s what we chose to MOD! although Alwayz Angry is a 5.7 based build a lot of my new found knowledge and videos can apply to most hemi trims and MOPAR like Chrysler 300s, chargers, scat pack, SRT 392, hellcat and now RAMS. So follow my attempts to build a Showcar-Mopar, show and go, loud as hell, monstrous, barely street legal RT and I’ll be sure to keep them coming and make them as fun and unique as possible
People been telling me for a year that my 5.7 with the 3 liter whipple couldn't possibly break 600 wheel lol.
it be people with no cars no superchargers or no money saying what a 5.7 can and can't do
only person to get real advice from is modern red hemi or myself regarding the 5.7 platform everyone else is either hating or speculating without actual experience
@@Alwayz_Angry I had spoken with Blackcarguru and he told me flat out the 5.7 is ready to make power from boost on stock internals. So that's what I did. Everybody else but you has told me I'm stupid, or a liar lol. Good content bud.

@@choppaextended2487 I’ve actually witnessed this. From what I’ve read the drive by wire throttle body on dodge’s doesn’t open completely even with the pedal to the floor. That might why Eric Holdener converted an LS throttle body to fit the 5.7 for testing. Either way. Most people that I know in the race world that tell me often that the dodges aren’t as fast as they’re made out to be. I still think Always Angry’s 5.7 is impressive though. Most 6.4 and 6.2L Hemi’s have issues with modding.

I’ll always take 5.7 over the 6.4. I’ve seen amazing things on 5.7 with stock internals doing more then the 6.4.

I got a 2010 challenger rt and I’m not to far from Chicago. Seeing your build really opens my eyes to the potential power these cars can make. I always thought the 5.7 wasn’t capable of more then 600hp but your car shows me it’s more then capable of it. Seeing these videos motivate me to build up my car so thank you for the sharing build with us

I’m doing a 5.7 Hemi/T56 magnum swap in my 1992 D150 pickup. I’ll be adding boost and a cam later on but seeing these numbers I might need to build the rear end first.

I can't go wrong building on a 5.7L or 6.1L Hemi. Great times! The power potential is monstrous, spend big money 💰 17k 20k easily to fully build from the ground up an 800 -1000+ Hp

That’s a pretty cool build you got going. I hear them mention exhaust leaks, were they specific as to what part of the exhaust was leaking? Like headers or manifold? I got hellcat headers on my rt charger and the air noise when I accelerate is driving me nuts. Hoping you have some tips as to fix. Also my codes for the o2 keeps going off and i dont know if hits cuz of the leak or maybe I need wide bands.
gotta dial in the tune but the exhaust leaks were all over you may have a boost leak

get the scat if you can and enjoy it. if you race heavily then either one is fun to mod the 6.4 block is a good one to start with naturally aspirated

Great question! I have not gapped the rings and that’s VERY risky. We are in a safe tune for now but next step is definitely bottom end

Did you unlock your PCM yourself? Bought the MPV3 tool a month back and haven’t seen any leads on how to do it myself. Talked to Defier and they said I’d need to buy the tool for the unlocking. Just curious
Yea it was super easy, with diablo they send you an unlocked replacement and you ship back your oem one. With HP you send in your oem one and they unlock it. The mpvi is the tool that lets you communicate changes the unlock service itself allows those changes to be made. If you bought an MPVI I think it come with a free unlock

Crank the boost up to 12psi, and it's going to be to be closer to 800hp or more.
I can’t believe it’s putting down that much power on only 9 lbs and on stock internals.
it's all in the tune, with timing and fuel you'd be surprised what it puts down.

it's a 5.7 stock bottom end with a 2.4L hellcat supercharger the demon is 2.7L i believe.
i took the demon badge and painted it myself to look like spawn as that was the original "angry" theme it's not meant to look like a demon blower but i do get this question a decent amount

How did you put that cluster in there and go about calibration? trying to do this to my rt
The simple gauge face swap video I did is good for different colors of the same mile per hour. If you're getting the scat pack or Hellcat gauge face you're gonna have to buy the whole cluster and it's automatically calibrated. You won't be able to mess with the tire speed enough to get it to read accurate without messing up the gear ratio

Im thinking about trading in my 2013 v6 charger soon to get a 2021 ram 1500 with a 5.7 ive been looking around for mods cause i want the truck to be fast talking about hellcat power ive just been struggling because alot of the superchargers i see dont have the loud whine that i love any one have any suggestions on what to do
it's harder for trucks because of throttle and gearing i assume but whipple and hellcat blowers have the louder whines haven't heard a ton of loud maggys

Any idea what it would do with a comp stage 2 cam, my next upgrade is the comp stage 2. Just wondering how well it would work with the hellcat blower. That is insane numbers for a 5.7 . Now I know where I want mine to go 👍
if i could go back id save the $ on the cam job and put it to soenthing else because now my new plans require a custom grind cam for the next stage of the super RT
but stage 2 if im not mistaken needs a upgraded torque converter too id have to check my notes

What’s a safe mod for my 6.4 to add around 50hp?
dual pump full return fuel system with 1300 or bigger injectors and a dyno tune for e85. add a nice cold air intake and high flow 3 inch exchuast system you'll get the 50HP and also be prepared for any other down the road
