2560 in the human calendar, and humanity has created such incredible technology. Artificial intelligence, FTL technology, cryotechnology, genetic augmentation, terraforming, and they still dont have flying cars. 500 years in the future and vehicles still use wheels for their cars. All serious though, great video.
They can do it, because they have AI that can manage that kind of traffic and antigravity, but of course, flying cars are one of those overrated popularized scifi things that are actually impractical in the sense that while it is achievable, it is a stupid tech to implement in reality. Even with automated traffic control, one malfunctioning car unit could go kamikaze down to earth (just imagine an innie group or a single hacker sending a specialized virus or physically destroying the main servers and then the entire traffic falls down, causing a lot of material damage), and drivers will still have to get a pilot's license. Got a bit serious there, but I just don't like flying cars lmao. There's the novelty I suppose, but I just don't get the hype behind it. Aircrafts are much cooler.
A great dive into a deep, fascinating lore universe I didn’t even know existed! Gonna have to check out the Halo games! Great content that makes my work day tolerable! Thanks!
Quite frankly i think everyone misinterpreted the Mantle of Responsibility because its said the Mantle shelters all, but only "insert species here" can be its masters. This in itself is a test because its meant to be the fact that all species acting as one are its masters because all are working together, not just one species controlling all others.
Will you cover events which we know happen past the game's timeline such as the end scene of Halo Reach were we see the planet get reterraformed which takes place in 2589 in your pt3 video?
For anyone wondering, the footage at 27:00 is from the Arma 3:Trebuchet mod.
Right off the bat, a super green guy, an Arby manager and a giant F-ing worm with more than a degree.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. Technology is supposed to fix problems not create them.
Serious question...why would a more realistic take on a sci-fi civilization NEED that technology? What's the benefit?
cant wait for part 3
