I’ve always like the idea of Humanity being far more ancient than WE believe. That once upon a time WE, we’re a Super Advance Civilization. But somewhere down the line something happen that cause our devolution, and now in Modern Times, in centuries to come, little by little, WE, gonna reclaim our former throne. 😊

Almost 2 hours of Forerunner lore. Yeah, I kinda would expect that from a species with a long and rich history to it. From the beginning of the Ecumene to present day Halo, the legacy of the Forerunners lives on.
Didact: "The humans were not meant to protect others" Humanity: "Hey, wanna see something funny?" **Gradually unites all the species outside of Forerunner space into a prosperous federation united in their mutual hatred of the Forerunners, routinely instigating and supporting revolts and uprisings in Forerunner territory from subjugated alien civilizations by giving them the means to sabotage and take out things like Guardians**
1:46 Though with all that we know about their culture and history, this was more likely expressed as "No civilization shall ever be allowed to surpass us unless they are superior to us in every conceivable metric and embody our values and ideology even better than us". It could also be interpreted as them coming before others but still being around and more powerful/advanced, therefore they are inherently superior to others.

Always thought it was odd that despite ancient humanity being very close to the forerunners technologically, there are no human megastructures or lasting architectural monoliths to speak of. I would have thought they would have built some sort of megastructure or something that would have stood the test of time
@@gary4332 The thing is, human megastructures were built with Precursor neural physics material as their very foundation. If the Forerunners didn't destroy them directly, then the Halo's pulse did.
