Yes, once you have set up the rear cam and hardwired it to the dash cam, you will be able to view the rear cam on the dash cam screen.

It uses a STRONG magnet.. It will not come off.
My vehicle has wireless Apple car play. Will this dashcam record without a constant active connection to my phone? I don’t want to choose between CarPlay and the dashcam, I just want the video available if I need it. Also, does the camera shut off if your vehicle has an econo mode which shuts the engine off in long stops?
it a damn hard magnet and its a wonderful feature and it so nice to be able to remove it when you change cards instead
of losing the card when it shoots out and hides so you can never find it and 128 gig card and $50 lost
