I love these shows! Im disabled and some days cant get out and watching Phil and Kirstie make my day and I dont care how old they are! ❤
It's a treat for us too! To be honest, all the houses look so spacious and marvellous in this episode! XO
Me too!
Kirstie's tangerine coat!!! "Wowza!!" I love it.
Yes, absolutely beautiful!
@@CovidConQuitTheCensorship ❤ Four years in; No jabs and no covid! ❤
@@andreaandrea6716 It's a miracle lol

Same Andrea 👍😁
Handsome baby Dexter! And l'm so glad Rinku found happiness! Some episodes (and l love this show for its hosts) make me want to scream 'eat the rich!' Any family in sub-modest housing would leap with joy to call home any of these bits of heaven.
The baby smiling at the end, so pure 😊
So adorable & 😊 they found their home.
It’s such a shame that the home next to the care facility is being demolished, it’s a beautiful home.
Love these snapshots into England. Phi and Kirstie encourage their clients towards the best decisions.
Thank you for sharing the shows Love them!
Not sure why the preggers couple dislike the look of the third house, it's rather charming, traditional red brick and that HUGE garden.
My God, England is beautiful.
It can be
England is gorgeous, but that baby is delightful.
Unbelievably so, yes.
Yep parts are … parts are unbelievably grim
And so bloody cold
Often on this show, the ceiling fixtures in the homes are horrible! They're cheap and not from the houses' periods. It's not often we see gorgeous period ceiling fixtures. Love Kirstie's coat, such a vibrant colour. Love this show! Thanks for the upload.
Luckily, they are easily changed. Unluckily, really nice ones can be breath-takingly expensive. Not surprisingly, people who have invested in really nice, expensive light fixtures often take them with them when they move, putting in something cheap in the place to sell the house.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE these. This made my day!
Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been missing Kirstie and Phil!
Love the orange coat, Kirsten.
Me too , it's lovely ❤

(So, this makes me crazy, that people don't bother to get names right ... and EVERYONE mispronounces my last name even if I say it slowly. I don't understand why!)
An American here, and delighted to see that Baby Dexter has his first pair of Wellies! 44:40
Charming episode from 2014 - great couples, hope they are still happy in their homes.
If you've lived rent-free for three years, you should have a huge amount for downpayment because you *should* have spent those three years anticipating having to be independent and paying for your life. It's always amazing to see the perspective that is shown on the show - it may not cover the full reality, but the "reality" we're given sometimes makes you wonder at the common sense of people.
I think it’s called ‘Living for the Moment’.
I loved the first house Phil showed them!
Great video, thanks for posting. The 2 couples very nice and i would made the same choice: am i becoming picky myself, watching this show😆?Truly, they chose well, though i quite liked the 4th house for the couple with the baby. And of course Kirsty and Phil are great, full or sensible and professional advice. Kirsty' s orange coat was superb !
Great show. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💓💚🥰🤗
Baby Dexter's smile lit up the entire Universe! Oh people, I see sunshine ahead for all!
44:50 The best part of the video! 😂
The baby-couple should buy number two and put an office in the garden! They can expand the roof later!
I love the first house..I'll take it!!!
I wonder if they ever revisited either of these two couples in a subsequent show. Sometimes they do revisit, and it's always interesting to see.
You don't say "disgusting" about someone's else house in front of a camera. That's very unpolite
That's what I thought too. Sorry to be rude about someone I don't know, but she struck me as being a bit spoilt.
And what a begrudging thankyou from rinky
@@pyewackett5 horrible person. sorry to say it but i couldn't watch the programme till the end
Some people don't know how very lucky and privileged they are, that's for sure.
Same feeling . A very rude young woman , indeed.@@adriang3498
Kick arse house is a new term to me and I’m English !
That lil man's face says it all!! God bless them ❤
I enjoyed your show.
That first house that he showed Sally and her husband was just stunning.
You don't buy a house to suit your furniture. You buy furniture to suit your house
Kirsty!!Baby drawer!!
Dr Sprott wrote you can make a drawer into a baby's bed 😊
The baby drawer is a true blessing. Apartment, 1 bedroom, 2 little boys 19 months. 8 months, surprise identtical triplet girls 7 weeks early. The 4 drawer dresser was a blessing.!
MOVE that home do not tear it down!!
Thank you!
Not one but TWO couples grotesquely dissatisfied with houses that had more space than reasonably needed or afforded by families of six. NICE houses, too. A thoroughly unpleasant set of clients this time.
Good luck to Steve thinking he’s going to spend Sundays in the pub reading the papers with a newborn in the house 😂😂 I found Rinku rather rude referring to peoples homes as “disgusting” “ugly” “old school”. I would give my right arm for any of these beautiful houses. Beautiful baby ❤
What makes a house a home? To make you're home suit yourself is one thing, but to walk into someone else's home, look it over in 15-30 minutes, and be able to say it's meant for you is incredibly difficult! The more houses you look at, the more difficult it becomes. I remember exactly how stressful that was. 😳
Prices as per 2014.
On that second one, with the grass, what is wrong about the area, I wonder?
Nothing. Some people are just stuck on certain areas they believe are "better". Personally, unless I were looking for a period home, I'd rather have a new build with no worries about maintenance. She couldn't even make a decision without mommy. LOL
it is true that we seldom hear someone say "oh i love it". reserved brits.
How prices have risen! Phil quotes 20k for loft conversion after covid & Brexit prices are nearer 80-100k
It’s been 10 years. No duh prices have changed lol
@@thehungrygoldfish That's a very steep increase over 10 years. Four to five times more expensive within 10 years. Amazing what become have quickly come to regard as normal.
@@betsyj59 Supply and demand. You can’t do anything about it unless you’re willing to commit horrible crimes lol
Cutie Baby Dexter ❤
Phil and Kirstie seem to be stressing harder than the viewing couples about the looming time lines. I don't think either couple had an understanding of the "lag time" between closing and move-in time. Would like to see Phil & Kirstie remind their clients of this, sometime.
Wow how rude of someone to say on camera that the home was disgusting 😮😮, shameful. You can say what every you want outside away from the camera and house but damn!
Wrinkleloo is a pain in the butt
What horrible people. 🤦🏻♀️ Didn't even finish the episode which is a first for me 😢
couldn't agree more. the sour faced wife in the second couple needs bringing down to earth. she's had it too easy since the wedding
I'm always puzzled by how viewing couples seem clueless about the possibility of other buyers coming along and snapping up the properties they're dithering over, as though they've all the time in the world! Often, Phil and Kirstie are no help in reminding them of this.
Phil and Kirstie do encourage their buyers to make a decision quickly if there’s a lot of interest or offers on the property. If a couple is taking taking too long to make a decision then they never really the property to begin with.
Not true Dolores , they always tell people about existing offers and open house days . They drag their feet because they think they know what they want but actually they don't ‼️
You can't know everything that is said off-camera. These shows are edited, you know. Clearly a HUGE amount of work searching for the properties and talking to estate agents is done off-camera even before they start taking the buyers around to look at properties. They often say that something has been on the market a long time so a deal can be done, or the owner needs to move abroad and is eager to sell, or there is a showing coming up in a few hours with 12 people walking through, etc. I think you haven't watched closely enough or often enough. People dither, but if there's no time for dithering and they've said they really want a place, Kirstie and Phil will say, 'Let's sit down and make the call right now and get it off the market.' I've seen a number of shows in which Kirstie and Phil have done exactly that, and then we hear that they were too late - there was a better offer and their clients' offer was rejected.
I have a question. Do people looking for houses on these television shows buy them, or is it just an entertainment show?
watch to the end
It depends on the show. This particular series, yes, because a lot of them are already in the middle of their search. Not all of them buy a house by the end of the episode but that makes it more realistic.
The first couple re renting free for the last year on there uncle garden. There fuse fuce .
The toothless baby smile, cute
In the United Kingdom, can a house be moved from one piece of land to another piece of land??
No. It's built with bricks
Hah! Rinky and Dinky inviting parents and Uncle, who is kicking them out, to see the house they want that is OVER their budget speaks volumes. "please pay the difference for us". SPOILED /ENTITLED MUCH?
They never said that. What are you talking about? lol
Cream carpet or white rugs in every home in the country. Why ? carpet is a dirty option for floors
Because it's mostly non-country people who can afford country homes now?
I must say that Kirstie has gorgeous legs.
Why do people say 'nice & light' about rooms that are generally used in the evenings / night ... sitting rooms & bedrooms. "I can't get over how it looks from the outside' ... huh? how often do you stand outside looking at your house? grown up ... as for being unfamiliar with the area ... your people come from a different country! geez ...
Their all spoilt Bart’s . We are prepared to do work yes course you are not
Well, they did updates on both of these couples and they indeed bought the houses they chose in this episode and did extensive work. Gasp!
The second family can't not make up there minds they have to ask there Mother and f uncle to have a look at it. She mum Girl and he is a uncle boy.
Wrinkle face is like sour grapes ho dear
The ugly house that Kirstie showed, which needs walls knocked down and reconfiguring - that couple only has THREE MONTHS to close on a house and move into a new one. So Kirstie is trying to sell them on living in a building site for who knows how long. Not the right timing to take on a fixer-upper. If they had six months or a year after closing to live in their pleasant, current home while they had everything done to the new house, it might be a different story. Not everyone wants to live in a building site. Not everyone CAN live in a building site (it's sometimes just not livable - water turned off, no electricity, open to the outside, etc.).
Hmmm. I wonder if Kirstie's couple could have bought land, bought the house they were renting, and moved it? (Apologies, but I couldn't grasp their names and I'm completely ignorant of non-typical names!)
So dramatic at times
It must be weird to have cameras on you and told where to stand
The spoiled Brat generation. The Entitlement was oozing out of the screen. And all totally clueless. I gave up after my ears began bleeding, having to endure the petulant whining 'I want! I want!' what you want is a good metaphorical kick up the backside. It is like watching spoiled toddlers in an adult frame.
Unless you’re like 90, you’re closer to these couples than the current generation. These couples are well into their 40s now. So if you’re below the age of 70, you’re right in there with them.
@@thehungrygoldfish Are you really that clueless?
@@hogwashmcturnip8930 Are you really that clueless thinking you and your generation weren’t entitled spoiled brats? You’re just as bad if not worse. And you guys are excruciatingly insufferable now always complaining about the younger generations and never looking at yourselves for putting us here in the first place!
Sunder is HOT !!!
My mother and I have been watching Phil and Kristy for years and have loved seeing all of the different styles of homes in the UK.
It’s interesting to see how different the homes are in the different areas.
It’s also interesting to see all of the clothes washing machines in the kitchen and the lack of clothes dryers. Also interesting that so many homes have the small toilet that wash you.
I do have some questions. What are stamp costs? Is that a tax?
The washer and dryer are sometimes one machine. Stamp duty is like closing costs.
Stamp duty is a tax the government take when you buy a house of a certain value. Stamp duty can add thousands to the overall cost of moving.
