Found out talktalk offered them fullfibre with eero router. Talktalk youview doesnt work with it. They failed to tell elderly parents this ...

Hi. I've tried to replace the harddrive of my Huawei DN370t with another identical drive but it won't download the software. Have you replaced any hard drives?
Yes. You need to make sure the drive is just one partition, raw format. Then once fitted in the device access the maintenance menu to fully reset
What I would also say is the 370 is prone to failing, it's not a great box. Also take note of the Amps on the replacement drive. Shouldn't be more than the one you are replacing
Thanks. I don't know how to check the formatting. Do I need a caddy and a pc? Is it easy to do?
The box is at least 7 years old and has been used almost daily so doesn't owe me anything but would be nice to fix it.
@@mikeeadie4729 yes that's the best way, or just use a brand new disc as they come raw formatted.
