We examine TalkTalk's basic broadband service SimplyBroadband. As it's name suggests, there's no calls, TV channels or SIM cards bundled in here. It's just broadband.
SimplyBroadband is typically offered at a low price with the cost of monthly or annual line rental added on top.
At the time of posting - February 29, 2016 - TalkTalk is only charging customers line rental with SimplyBroadband for 18 months, meaning you save £7.50/month by essentially getting the broadband element of the service for free.
If FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) is available in your area then you can take out an up to 38Mbps service or an up to 76Mbps service for an extra £10/month or £15/month respectively.

Hi I know this is an old video
But maybe someone will answer my query
I have old basic broadband with talk talk and just got email saying I am out of contact they have to tell me if I want to go elsewhere.
Now in the email it says my contract is unlimited broadband the price I pay includes line rental but our landline is with BT
My mother pays for the phone bill.
Can I press some numbers before dialling so my call is logged on the talk talk part?
Anyway any ideas please

Talk Talk is crap. You will have endless problems with them. Pick up any magazine and read about the complaints to Ofcom. They were also just recently fined 400,00 pounds for lack of adequate security when millions of customers had their personal details stolen which all came out after a year so Talk Talk did not inform their customers. Nice one! If you cancel, expect to still get a bill. Another complaint. They seem to not have a central database to update when you talk to them so If you need to resolve something, expect it to drag on for a very long time, sometimes months. Worse broadband company in the UK by miles.

This has just completely put me off your channel, just advertising that's all that was and for a company with a disgraceful record for customer service.
