    I agree with most of how you handled the objections, but I have to say, the moment you asked what would I need to discuss with my wife, I would have told you it's none of your business and that you should just forget about the whole thing. If you didn't get a yes before that point, the worst you can do is sound desperate, which is exactly how you sounded here and just pushes people away.

      you can get over that pretty easily by scheduling estimate with all decision makers present.

      After you talk to your wife are you realistically going to callback and say let's move forward or say no or have the contractor chase you for an answer?

    I never bring up money, I never ask personal questions. I present myself the best I can, i give my best price the first time within 24 hours and then I let them decide. Don’t make it so weird
    Here’s a tip. I always present myself to a new customer as if we’ve known each other but it’s been awhile. I don’t know, it’s always helped my anxiety about meeting new people.

    Great content. I tend to feel scared/hesitant to re-direct the conversation with those questions in order to obtain the truth behind their objections, but this video made me realize how crucial it is to dig deeper especially when it feels like it's a lost cause. Very helpful and relevant information.

    Very educational. I learned that there are different types of objections and you can subtly uncover them.

    Also, I’m thinking for the spouse objection, you need to do the legwork before hand to make sure she is at the appointment. I do not like salesmen pushing me to make a decision w/o talking to spouse and the only way to not do that is to schedule a call later in which you’ll probably get ghosted.

    Excellent content very helpful! Looking to build out a pricing guide on our website. I was talking with my supplier about building out a pricing guide a few months ago and they discouraged me on that but I now see afresh the value! Thanks!

    Great stuff ! I've been finding most of my potential customers do not want to have a face to face or talk over the phone but rather send text messages back and forth. Is that a bad thing? How do you recommend dealing with it? I prefer to initially have a conversation over the phone. Thanks!!

      For us, its all about being able to establish your process. If having a phone conversation is important for you to dive into their project then state that to the customer up front, "hey thanks for reaching out. I've had text conversations with other homeowners and it's led to not so great experiences. To best make sure that I'm taking care of you, I'd like to schedule a phone consultation to learn more about your project. What are your thoughts?" --- hope this helps!

      Well, if the prospect gives out any of the one 3 objections listed in this video, and the salesman doesn't resolve to investigative measures to get to the bottom of it, the answer might as well be a "no" anyways.

    I'm just having a hard time even getting to have the conversation with my furniture assembly business soon as I give a price leads go ghost gotta figure out a new process I guess

      @@ctimehaynes Whenever you give an estimate through a message it gives the prospect an automatic opportunity to not respond.
      When you can get them on a phone call to discuss pricing you can actually handle the objection instead of getting ghosted
