I have just got my hands on a TVR Chimaera 400 that has seen better days. 2 months ago I knew nothing about fixing cars. Owning a TVR has changed that. At almost 50 I have discovered that I love working on engines and am getting stuck into my TVR. Thanks for the update.

Hi Dean, great channel, lots going on! Keep up the good work. Those porsche end caps I'd probably get a carbon fibre sheet 4-6mm thick and cut two new ones to the same shape of the intact end. Sand and clear coat those and you would be good to go!

I dont mind waiting for a specific car to be worked on. But when a car is sitting outside, you might lose interest and rather buy an other car. The A6 is possible to fix quicker with the repair kit, great news. You are never the only one having a certain problem with a car. Whats up with the Mini I saw in the video?
That spoiler end piece you could swap out both ends for aftermarket carbon fibre caps. I’m sure someone out there will collab with you to show off their business.

Just order a white board and put it in your kitchen and draw your projects down on it and every morning in the chill times reschedule everything. Trust me but planing is the key for every big business and management.
Dean, I'm no expert but for the Porsche rear spoiler end plate could you get the side that isn't damaged scanned then reverse then reverse the image and 3d print, hope this helps Nick
Good jig operators typically prefer the mangled metal left on the car to pull on because pulling on good metal will deform it, anyone with a jig who agrees to pull on good metal is probably not who you'd want jigging your car.
You do realise the seal kit for the rs6 won’t fix the oil returning and filling the intercoolers you need the valve on the end of the oil pump if that’s the fault which isn’t available
@@SavingSalvage if you’ve replaced all the pcv valves and the one way valve on the scavenge pump at the back of the oil pump is ok it’ll be the turbos that’s causing the leak The oil pump seal kit will only fix external oil leaks
@@BIGCMV the one Ricky had he replaced all PCV valves and the valve in the pump, he actually ended up buying a second hand oil pump which fixed the problem. So it does look like I may have ordered a seal kit for no reason 😂🤦🏻♂️ I saw you wanted a kit on Facebook, do you want to buy mine? 😂
Dean a long time Mate the end plate to the GT4 is Plastic just buy a sheet of plastic or more than likely you have some with all your spares around use masking tape on the none broken side to get a templet of size and shape straight cut the broken size place your mirror side cut the new plastic to get how much you need to replace and Plastic weld it on sand shape and paint job done
Speed Six - It would have been so good to see you refurb the engine yourself. No-one has shown this properly on UA-cam (or elsewhere) yet. If you can rebuild an R8 engine then you've definitely the skills to tackle that engine.😀 T5 Gearbox - Similarly it would have been great to see you do a pragmatic service on the gearbox. If you do get others to refurb those parts then please show us part of the refurb going on at the various specialists. There is very little out there on the specialists setting valve clearances or timing the Speed Six or AJP8 for example. Will be very interested to see which aftermarket engine management system you go for. Will you be doing that yourself or getting some help? Looking forward to more TVR content!

Dean, that edge trim on the GT4 spoiler….you could 3D print it using the other side as reference and just “flip it” - job done!!!!!!!

Ricky changed the valve on the one he had and it didn’t fix it

Should’ve started sealing it up from the bottom 1st! Water will run in through the gaps.
Looks like mice are living on the RS6 engine…. Might want to blank off all the intercooler pipe work etc and place a mouse trap in the engine bay.
The GT4 looks great -- surprised you have not been all over it, so you can get it out and drive it.
My dream car is the GTR35 I would sell a kidney for it please finish and raffle it Dean ! 🙏🏻👍🏻
