In today's video I finally buy my dream car, the Nissan R35 GTR!!.. this has been a long time coming and of course it's crashed, the only way I could afford one! So let's crack on and get repairing.

Great video as always, but I was more looking at that beatiful behemoth in wonderful blue colour - the Audi (btw is that SQ7 or regular Q7?)😍I used to have Audi A6 from 2010 and interior-like GTR feels like it was made at the beginning of 2000, sorry guys. Have watched alot of your videos and you do a great job - but sometimes you are a bit overly destructive when you're taking stuff apart.. That sound deadening could have been heated up with a hairdryer and pealed back from the base with tools...its much less effort than having to buy new stuff and refit the whole boot..or leaving a bodged mess under the surface that doesnt do the job anymore.

Check out Performance Rebuilds channel. They did an R35 rebuild with similar damage. Zee is master at fabrication/body work
I think it was something like Performance Salvage or similar in Birmingham way that did exactly the same repair to a GTR about 18 months ago. Would be wise to watch that as I think certain areas had some strengthened panels which they struggled to remove when they dismantled and also picked out the panels from the corner they bought to fit, in the same way as you are about to challenge yourself, Dean.

Well done, what a brilliant find for the channel, Dean! In truth, I was getting a bit tired of the BMW and Audi rebuilds (didn't stop me entering the raffles to win 'em). But this gets TVR levels of enthusiasm from me.

Hey Dean, I really need your help and knowledge on VW.
My dad broke down in his GOLF 6 automatic, after normal drive he stopped to refill petrol and than the car did not start again. In the MFA it showed "Select P or N" which was not possible - the selector was stuck, not moving at all. Some local guys at the petrol station manually unlocked it by removing a yellow piece undernethe the gear selecor stick. This allowed to select P and N but the car still showed "selece P or N to start" and the selected Gear indication lights did flash instead of normally lighting up. Have you any Idea where this issue can come from and how to fix?
Never check a cars chassis stamp and trust it based on some sticker or the windscreen one. Always look for the chassis number thats been stamped into the body of the car.

I’ve been reading a few of the comments on here and all I can say is the channel is fantastic and very intuitive. It doesn’t matter if it’s German Chinese English or from even the moon. The main thing is the content is very good. And people need to realise that your actually risking your own £££ buying and rebuilding these cars. Keep up the good work 👍👍

Looks like a great find to me..🤔🤔🇬🇧...The interior came out easily, unlike the strut...Youd think it would bolt on from underneath...Of course, that would have made it special though....A classic bit of design compromise...🤔🤔😮😮😳😏😏🇬🇧

Genuinely, wouldn’t change anything if it didn’t start anyway so didn’t matter. But there’s no reason it shouldn’t of started so i wasn’t worried
Looking 4ward to this one! Although I love my golf's and most things VAG the GTR is an all time dream motor. Realistically the only GTR I'm gonna own is the one ive got on FORZA 5 😂
My first thought when I saw the damage was "oooh, ouch, good luck with that!" but having seen pretty much all of your videos, I know you have it in you to get it all sorted and looking pristine again, and more importantly, done properly with no bodges! All the best with the build.

Considering the number of wheel damaged cars you buy, would it not pay to have a car dolly that spans the jack points?
Jack the car up, place the dolly, roll the car off?
Maybe there's no such thing, I don't know, but it would make life easier.

The speedo reads in kilometres, being a JDM import, so the 37912 mileage is actually kilometres? Bit surprised it's got rear drum brakes.
@performancerebuilds did one of these with very similar damage about 2 years ago. Worth a watch if you are not familiar with the car 👍👍
Omg, I've never had to pull apart my R35, but it doesn't surprise me that it's logical & easy, except for the sound deadening material that is, Rj in Oz
American mechanic here! I have aw 2009 Audi A8L 4.2 and I actually prefer working on that as opposed to any American domestic or import lmao!

LOVE THESE ON AN 18 PLATE UP 2019 MODEL WAS ABOUT THE BEST.,U PAYED WHAT THE WIDE ARCH KIT COSTS LOL THOSE ARE 25K ON THERE OWN FOR FULL WIDE ,NICE DECAT AND INDUCTION KIT WITH FULL FLOW EXHAUST AND A REMAP TO 700 BHP PLUS :p
Remember turning down one for 34k not crashed black edition scruffy wheels. Must have been 6 years ago.
