Nice choice Dean, Bloody Copart forklift drivers are a pain and are destructive. I swear people should complain with all the damage they do to cars that didn't need extra parts replaced.
I think it was something like Performance Salvage or similar in Birmingham way that did exactly the same repair to a GTR about 18 months ago. Would be wise to watch that as I think certain areas had some strengthened panels which they struggled to remove when they dismantled and also picked out the panels from the corner they bought to fit, in the same way as you are about to challenge yourself, Dean.
I’ve been reading a few of the comments on here and all I can say is the channel is fantastic and very intuitive. It doesn’t matter if it’s German Chinese English or from even the moon. The main thing is the content is very good. And people need to realise that your actually risking your own £££ buying and rebuilding these cars. Keep up the good work 👍👍
Well done, what a brilliant find for the channel, Dean! In truth, I was getting a bit tired of the BMW and Audi rebuilds (didn't stop me entering the raffles to win 'em). But this gets TVR levels of enthusiasm from me.
What a terrific buy Dean. Hope you checked the oil levels before revving it. Interesting to see in the next video how straight the shell is. Great content as always. Cheers, Bob
My first thought when I saw the damage was "oooh, ouch, good luck with that!" but having seen pretty much all of your videos, I know you have it in you to get it all sorted and looking pristine again, and more importantly, done properly with no bodges! All the best with the build.
The Japanese really know how to put a car together and very intuitive in what they do. This is a great project for the channel! And I'm with you on the spiders!😖
Love the GTR, owned an R34 for 10 years, sold it last year and feel like I've lost my left arm! Looking forward to how this pans out! Definitely needs an exhaust on it 😏
Really enjoyed your video. Great car. Also one of my dream cars to own. I enjoy your approach. Hands on. Feels honest, genuine and authentic. I won’t lie. I was genuinely scared for the interior when you went in with a power tool near the seats😂. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for sharing.
Now we’re talking ! I’ve owned my R35 for 6 years and love it It sounds like it’s still got its standard exhaust so that will be on your shopping list although the R35 does suffer from R35 tax so everything is extortionately expensive Looking forward to this build
Love your videos. It’s my Sunday morning treat ! I have a litchfield stage 5 r35. Same year with 10k on the clock. My pride and joy … please do the car justice when repairing though and don’t cut any corners 🙏🏻
Nice choice this Nissan as the rebuild project ! Hopefully the damage will easy to repair and no surprises when the back panel is removed ! Fingers cross !
Never check a cars chassis stamp and trust it based on some sticker or the windscreen one. Always look for the chassis number thats been stamped into the body of the car.
Dean, I havenet even started watching the video and already this deserves a thumbs up just by the bloody thumbnail. Now we are talking !!! kudos for keeping this one under wraps
Mate so buzzing for this! I also love this car and is my dream car ever since i paid for a drive in it at brands hatch. Looking forward to the whole series.
Really looking forward to this one, great choice of car. I did have a little chuckle at your expense at 7:56 after spotting the LR on the driveshaft (Sorry)
Looks like a great find to me..🤔🤔🇬🇧...The interior came out easily, unlike the strut...Youd think it would bolt on from underneath...Of course, that would have made it special though....A classic bit of design compromise...🤔🤔😮😮😳😏😏🇬🇧
This is put together so much more logical and practical than a VAG... Proceeds to have to remove sound deadening to access a serviceable part. 😊😊 Nice build though!
What a cracking car this will be. You need a after market exhaust on one of them the sound changes all together, that’s been drifting n got out of control
Hi I'm looking forward to this serie. Can be fun to watch you work on a non VAG car ;) (I'm also a VAG guy so I don't mind a VAG rebuild but always fun with some variation) Good luck with The GTR 😁
Ref the shocky bolts, why not just feel for them through the foam/ rubber matting then cut around them ? Saves all that peeling stuff away mullarky, should be a good project this Dean 👍
All that sound deadening is after market, so I would not be surprised to find you probably have an audio upgrade in there, most likely Hertz pro speakers with an amp under the passenger seat.
Nice car. Hopefully you get rid of the gold wheels and gold calipers, they are tacky as heck. I'd suggest grey wheels (to match your new wheel) and red calipers. Return it to as new condition, and I predict you will do very well when you sell it.
Wheeew, Always an enjoyer of your videos but being a JDM nerd at heart - minus my s4 c4 2.2turbo (please do one of those next) - this has me so excited. Do you have a patreon or another way for one to support the channel - except the compete for cars.
Lovely lox mileage example, and that makes it sort of worth what you paid for it, Performance Rebuilds did one a out 2 years ago, same side, so might be worth a look, as there is quite a few reinforcing panels in there,
Ohhh boy. I am excited for this series. I too have always wanted a GTR, but it's realistically going to be a lottery win. I live over by Litchfield motors in Tewkesbury who have been doing amazing things to the GTR for years, so we always have plenty of special looking ones on the roads around here. I cannot wait for this to go up on competeforcars - I hope that's where it ends up 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Nice to see different stuff apart from German
Yeah defo, nice too see
Agreed 👍 brother, variety is the spice of life!👊🦾🦾🦾🇿🇦
Have to agree as well but always top content

@@maverick4177 ok, just for you if you ask.really nice he might do a Suora.......
I've enjoyed all the content on your channel so far, but this knocks them out of the park!! Love a GTR. Looking forward to seeing the rebuild.
thanks mate! more to come!
Nice choice Dean, Bloody Copart forklift drivers are a pain and are destructive.
I swear people should complain with all the damage they do to cars that didn't need extra parts replaced.
can imagine they do it intentionally at times
No different from Soldiers.
Do you consider them Innocent and Heroic??
@@statementleaver8095are the forklift drivers at war with the cars 😂

First time watcher. It’s great to have some UK rebuilders to watch. I’ve been watching US channels for years but this is great.
Well done, what a brilliant find for the channel, Dean! In truth, I was getting a bit tired of the BMW and Audi rebuilds (didn't stop me entering the raffles to win 'em). But this gets TVR levels of enthusiasm from me.
You definitely like a challenge, Dean. I wish you all the luck with this one matey.

Awesome work Dean looking forward to seeing you get this bad boy back on the road. A friend of mine had one back in the day and they’re nuts 😃
Currently enjoying this episode on the TV what an achievement mate you've come such a long way 👏

Love all the sketchyness going on in this vid! Glad you did what needed to move it and I know it’s going to be spot on in the end!
One of my favourite cars all time , looking forward to this one Dean.......might actually look better without the bronze wheels 😜
Hi, love the videos.
YOU NEED TO DO A GARAGE UPDATE OF EVERY CAR YOU OWN! Very keen to see this.
Nice choice this Nissan as the rebuild project ! Hopefully the damage will easy to repair and no surprises when the back panel is removed ! Fingers cross !
check your gearbox on impact the rear axle is broken
Great Video Dean, love the new project!!

not to bad on the damage and no airbags deployed. Good to see something other than vag
My favourite car, really enjoyed this can't wait for the final product
This is put together so much more logical and practical than a VAG... Proceeds to have to remove sound deadening to access a serviceable part. 😊😊
Nice build though!
I had a strange feeling it was going to be a GTR 🙄
Almost like you were there kinda feeling was it? 🤣
Fantastic choice of car, remember see one when first came out not seen one for a while ,great content as always 👏
