Morning, would love to see a shoot out between the same weight slug and pellet, for example a 16gr. As the bench rest guys are getting fantastic results @ 100m with pellets
Maybe a good idea 🙂 But the bench rest guys are shooting 22 cal and above. A 177 pellet is difficult to stabilize past 65-70m. Did a video about this long ago, but with different liners and more knowledge it would be interesting to see if I can get better results today 🙂 My Panthera is actually set up for 16.2 gr Beast at the moment and shooting them very well at 34 m, so I guess that it is right there to test 🤔🤓 Thanks for the inspiration mate 👍👍
Very good groups Peter, not often the magazine beats the single shot loader. It's frustrating that you can shoot 1cm for four shots and have the last one spoil the group, now you are using the magazine have you thought of doing any mods to it? There was a guy who showed how to reduce the spring tension as he found if it was too 'snappy' it affected the ammo.
Actually I am back to single shot loader, but got the one from Carm magazines, and it is really good. Not that there is something wrong with the FX mag. I just like single shot loading 😃
Hello Peter, what pallets are you using? I had same issue with my m4 with JSB pellets. I got a scale and checked the weight of each pellet and found a lot of difference. Then I take a tin of JTS and found the are all spot on really good. Then went shooting and this flyer issue is way more less and tighter groups. Could be an idea to check your projectiles to see if you can find anything there.
There are many factors in play. Weight of pellets are one of them. And sorting pellets also one. With slugs they are not as likely to get damage. Im using slugs from ZAN and their weight is very consistant. And much better than what I have tried in the past. In my future videos I will go deeper into the obstacles I have on the way and all ready now there are big improvements in consistancy 🤗

Thank you so much 🙂 In order to make the barrel tensioner fit you need the front support as mentioned in the video. Only thing is to remove the pins from the M4 front support and install the other one 🙂

As far as the standard lateral pic rail is shaped, it will not fit, but since it doesnt need much strength it can be machined to fit if you have the skills. But yes fx will probably come up with a solution 🤓

Thanks buddy 🤗 The barrel tensioner feels like adding to the consistancy, so I think that mine is there to stay 😃 Still got the M3, but it is for sale. The final touch will probably be the 1st stage reg, but after the session yesterday it is doing fine without it 😎 Have a great weekend 🙂
@@johndanville6643 Not quite sure. The 1st reg does not have to be as accurate as the 2nd. Main purpose is to reduce the preasure from the bottle to 2nd reg. If it is off by a couple of bar +/- its no disaster, so any reg that fitts will most likely be an option. I will go much more into this whole 1st reg issue and become a bit nerdy (much to everybodys surprise 😂) in the upcomming video. I have a reg on the way and hope to have a video ready in 2 weeks 🤞🤞🤞

Det går nok, jeg er gået lidt væk fra de tungere ting, jeg skyder nu 13 og endda god damn 10 grain KO slugs ( også 16 grain naturligvis ) ud til 123 meter, og jeg hygger mig gevaldig. Glemmer konstant at kigge på / prøve at skyde nogle 5 skud grupper, det går mere op i 50 skud grupper her, og de fylder selv sage en del mere på / rundt om en 5 CM skive. Selv sagt ikke laser skydning, for på åben mark har jeg altid lidt vind jeg kan give skylden, men stadigvæk sjovt

Dual bottles on a single regulator think it will hold up ok? Beautiful set up though.
Preasure is the same wether it is one or two bottles 🙂 Just keep the fill preasure at max 250 bar 👍
