Very happy with my M4 Standard. Just practised on 50 meter, and it will shoot a hole in a hole just on standard setting already. Awesome
Another great video Peter. Keep it up. Thanks!
bro got an independent shirt still with the old logo! i still have one which is now 15 years old. the emblem is a bit faded but its got no holes or anything. they just dont make them like they used to. oh and this gun is simply gorgeous. i wish i could afford one. maybe one day, after years of saving. its my new dream rifle. love from NL
I wish you lots of fun with your M4! Love your vids!
Thanks buddy 🤗
Gratz!! always exciting getting a new air rifle. Well done on the video.
I ordered a 25 600mm copper m4 yesterday from Pyramyd air. It should be in-hand by Wed. I love my M3 .25 compact 50mm. I've had it since Nov 2021. I'm like, you kinda like a kid, excited, lol. I love your videos. Keep up the good work, my friend.
There are not many things that beats getting a new gun 😃
Shooting a serious amount of shots these days 😂
Have fun with your new gun when you get it buddy 😎
@@VikingAirgunner hej hvilken fx air gun er den kraftigste af ren nysgerrighed. det ligner at fx dynamic eller panthera er de kraftigste i cal 22 og at impact er under halvt så kraftig 47 joules og 96 for dynamic
Mvh Anthon rigtig gode videoer 😊
@@anthonlarsen3577 Hej Anton
Nice! Last grouping was more then decent! :)
And in my first session at 100 m I think it is absolutely great. In the process of swapping parts from the M3. Goooood things to come 😃
Glad you're liking your m4 Peter. And that was a very happy face 😄
Congrats. Love mine. Some people hating on the updates, but they were all very practical and good updates. No need to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Especially on such a proven platform.
It been the same with every new model of the Impact. Nothing different from the previous model.... 😂 But let the haters hate 😜
I love M4. As good as the M3 that I spent 2 years working on? No of course not. But with the parts swapped Im pretty sure that it will be better. In fact - lets see how many M3 there will be at RMAC next year 😜
@@VikingAirgunner 💯 shooting an M2 is what made me want a Impact of my own. Just so happens the M4 was intro'd like the day before I'd shot one.
I nearly ordered the angled gauge mount before I even got the gun because I really like that on the Panthera, but I'd want it on the left. I feel like it might be in my way on the right. Glad to hear you kind of aren't missing it. The last time I tuned my gun I never even looked at it once! I just turned everything until it felt and shot like I wanted it to shoot.
I hope to be one of those M4s on the line at RMAC, but I have quite a bit more learning to do before I get any airgun to perform the way I feel like it should.
@@JohnHowerton223 I will do my very best to share my experiences to provide knowledge/motivation to help you one the way to RMAC 😎
It's good that crono dishoting is also a master, let's see the stability
There will be much more about the spread/consistancy /accuracy in videos to come 🙂
So far I am also learning and as the proces continues I will make videos and display my experiences.
Hopefully ending up with the same level of knowledge that I have on the M3🙂
Congratulations on your stunning new beauty. My local shop is fully stocked and they really do look good.
Thanks buddy 🙂
Do you prefer black or bronze?
- its ok to say black 😂
@@VikingAirgunner Bronze is eye-catching but I would probably take the plain black. Made same choice with my M3
Thanks for the job
Maybe I get an answer now:
I have had my M4 Extended .22 for 1.5 weeks and it even shoots groups of 10cm in diameter at 50m, so really bad with the factory settings. After 3 evenings of trying with different pressure on the Plenum (standard 150B), it is now at 100Bar. The groups were getting better and better, but had grown to about 5cm. So not HOLE within HOLE. The factory speed of JSB 15.89 was 1225 ft/s or 375 m/s, so far above the speed of sound. (nice those loud bangs). Then I found out that the barrel was on the Slugs port (from the factory). Converted to the Pellet port and the speed went back to about 1020 ft/s. But unfortunately the group became smaller and smaller, but NOT HOLE in HOLE. Now 4 evenings later, I accidentally discovered that the JSB 18.1 shoots much better and is now (almost) Hole IN Hole. Ergo every version of the FX Impact M4 is different.

You need to dive into how to tune the gun. The factory tune should never be used.
Check out my video about tuning and follow the instructions and you will get the full potential of the gun 🙂
Watch the entire video and maybe a couple of times. If you are not experienced in tuning it is alot to take in, but if you listen and learn you will take a big step forward 🤓
Great show again Peter. A little jealous. I've ordered the FX King here in the UK. 4 months ago. The importer says the gun is ready but the stock maker GRS , Norway, havent made them yet!!
Ahh thats a long wait - but from what I can see that stock is worth waiting for 😎
Great shoot friend 2 cm group at 100 meter
Fo .177 cal there was really great accuracy at distance 100m
Hahahaha. Awesome! Loved the video.
Nice Peter
VERY NICE THANKS FOR SHARING SIR 🎯🙏🏼❤️
MUCH more to come 😎😃
Does the copper top rail have MOA built in? Thanks
As far as I know it is 20 MOA.
When you put the other barrel in, did you also add any tensioner liner kit etc?
So far I have not mounted the barrel tensioner, but I defenately will very soon😃 I did install the carbon fiber barrel sleeve.
@@VikingAirgunner did you glue that in?
@@JohnVK5JAK That is not nessecary. Actually not a good idea to do, since carbon and the liner reacts differently to changes in temperature. I know that Ernest made a video about it a long time ago, but since then it is no longer the common practice.
Would your old SSL not fit the M4? I recently swapped my M3 for the new M4 and was pleased to find that my Rowan Engineering SSL still works fine as do my EagleVision magazines. I was very pleased to find that the new M4 magazines are great improvement. Regrettably, my gun’s gone back to the importer (UK) for the 3rd time. Reg creep and imoveable locktighted screws which I couldn’t undo - why do FX have to red locktight everything in site?
If I had hair I would have pulled it out in my attempts to remove the screw for the angled gauge mount 😂 Im not done trying, but it was much easier to remove on the M3.
I did actually swap the heavy liner from my old gun, so I could have saved myself some $ there 🙄
I have made the Huma single shot loader fit. There are some small rubber balls on the power block, but there was only one when I recieved the gun. Luckily I had some on an old block with the remaining 3, so now it has a super fit 🙂
Sorry to hear about your leaks! You dont want that from a new gun 😪
What kind of M4 is this, wich pellet size do you use ??
700 mm heavy liner - dont remember the ammo, but it is mentioned in the video. 15 gr NSA or 16 gr Zan 🙂
Hello what would be your opinion which caliber would be better and more accurate 22 or 25?🙂
Im not sure that I am the right person to answer this, since I am this 177 guy who has never shot any other calibers. So my knowledge is purely UA-cam knowledge 😃
But if I am to try anyway - what will you be focusing on? Bench? Hunting? Distance? Pellets? Slugs?
Im coming ❤
Why do you use .177 cal?
Tillykke med den nye 🎂🇩🇰
Den bliver spændende at følge 👍
Tillykke med din nye M4
Tusind tak 🤗
Awesome 👍
❤ sir
Which slug and greins used you
Watch the video 😉
@@VikingAirgunner full watched but not understand me
If u don't mind can tell me
@VikingAirgunner just tell the guy, omg lol
How do you decide which caliber to choose?
Laws in Denmark requires a hunting licence and permit for anything bigger than 177. Owning the bigger calibers is nothing but trouble here, so the choice is easy - and I like 177. Less air consumption, cheeper ammo and quite accurate up to 125-130. Bigger calibers will for sure do better, but I look at the bright sides 😎🤗
Picked up my Impact M4 today from Utah Airguns. I'm shooting it now. Very happy 😊
Congrats on your new gun - I know exactly how you feel right now 😃
Hej peter
Giv mig et kald over Messenger. Så kan vi snakke lidt om kikkerter 🙂
FB Viking Airgunner 🙂
Are you only aloud .177? I'm just wondering because I've never seen someone have 3 FX air rifles that are all the same caliber. I feel like they don't change at all as far as the reg/speed goes anyway. The only FX gun that is different as for my opinion, is the Dynamic/Panthera.
Laws in Denmark requires a hunting licence and permit for anything bigger than 177, so saddly nothing but problems in owning the bigger calibers. But I like 177 😃
@@dougiefresh3767 I'm starting to feel like the .177 + slug combo is a grossly overlooked/sleeper caliber in the airgun world, ESPECIALLY in the US where we want bigger everything.
Given the explosion in popularity of .17 cal varmint guns in the US around 20 years ago, it doesn't make a lot of sense that the airgun world, which more or less specializes in varmint hunting went the opposite direction. Must just be a energy on target thing. I never even considered buying a .177. I'm not even sure I knew they made the Impact in a .177 because I looked past the caliber so quickly. Now I'm kind of feeling like that's what I actually want and I'm your stereotypical .30 cal owning American 🤣
@VikingAirgunner That's so messed up, but I feel like they are up to something like that in the US. To many people, brag about how they can be shipped straight to your door in the US, an how insane the fpe levels are. It's only a matter of time before they try to regulate airguns here.
@@dougiefresh3767 I saddly believe that it is the direction in many countries 🤔
@@JohnHowerton223 Thats a serious conversion 😃
If I had a free choice and no regulations at all, I think that I would go for the 22🤔
It can have a reasonable air consumption, ammo not too expensive - but most important - a huge selection in slugs. Brands, many variations in diameter, weights and different types of barrels. So that would be my choice.
177 is more limited regarding all that and I have heard many say that they cant get a heavy liner in the US. So if you are seriously considering the 177 it might be an idea to look into the availability of ammo and parts 🤔
Good
If you don't check the timeline, let it look stable?
Hi Robby
Im not sure that I understand what you mean 🤔
I have my M3 with a Saber Tactical front reg delete for over a year, and I run mine at 170 bar, and it's been awesome. I don't think a front reg is needed. Look how many guns out there only have 1 reg and fill to 300+ bar and don't have an issue. I guess if it gives you a piece of mind, then to each his own. Forgive my rambling. Keep up the great content.
With a reg setting on 170 bar I would not use the 1st reg either. I have been looking into regulators, springs and configurations and it is really interesting. Will cover this in one of my next videos 🙂
Not claiming to be an expert though 🤔🤓😂
Have a great weekend 🙂
the shot missed the target, my boss
Those aren't the greatest groups, but keep working at it
Not yet - lots of testing ahead 🤗
But hey a 2 cm group is pretty solid at 100 m for a 177 😎
In indonesia it costs more than 4k dollars
😪
M8 gs88 Indonesia 🇲🇨
Probably slow it down for accuracy
Which velocity would you suggest?
@@VikingAirgunner it would depend on the weight of your ammo. However if shooting pellets, as a rule of thumb everyone starts at 860 fps then adjust accordingly. I shoot my M3 standard at 940 fps on 29.60 grain .25 cal. I haven’t shot further than 60 yards but at 60 yards it’s pellet in pellet most of the time with some flyers

Groups are not very good😂 wow my bsa r10 Stage 2 shooting better 😅
As I say in the video I just recieved it, so there is alot of experiments ahead 🤗
Im very happy that your bsa is performing so well and it really pleases me that bsa is doing so well in all the major competitions 😉
Not very impressed on the accuracy😢
