    You’re saving new music producers a LOT of money by showing how stock sounds can breed professional sounding music. Can’t wait to hear more of your stuff!

      Honestly that’s the thing I’m loving most about Abelton. It’s the first time where I feel I can rely on the internal stuff ALOT more! And Thankyou for the kind words.

    This is amazing! Your tracks are sounding so good, and another great video. This goes to show how little I scratched the surface when I previously tried it. I find FL much quicker to get started on tracks, but need to spend a bit (a lot!) more time getting to grips with abletons capabilities.

      Haha love that. “A bit (a lot!)” 😂😂. And thankyou for the kind words. Ableton is so fun I really encourage you to sit with it for a day when you get free time. And just play. Watch tutorials to know how to do anything you love in FL studio. And then just discover more! I’m not saying you will switch but I’m just scratching the surface and still finding new things 🙌

    That tune sounds fire, your making some absolute bangers, My Daw Reason had no MPE however there are other tools available to do the same effect, I would like to have MPE as its faster.

      @@WhoIsAlexElliott I think that Reason vs Ableton is an interesting comparison one has a nice looking UI and devices that have graphic design to make them look like actual devices vs basic monochrome MS DOS looking UI with no graphic design at all. Both DAWs and there device systems are very near in functionality and fun factor.

    Hey! Does this mean you are never going back to Logic? I have been considering moving to Ableton for about 2 years just for the file browser. However, I don't know if I would like or find it easy to mix in Ableton. What has mixing been like for you in Ableton?

    • @WhoIsAlexElliott
      @WhoIsAlexElliott  16 днів тому +2

      Hay So I'm currently still using both Logic and Ableton, but for creation I have been only using Ableton and using Logic for external mixing work just out of habbit. To explain further, any song I make in Ableton, I also record the vocals and mix that track in Ableton and its been completely fine and sounding great. However I also do external mix work for labels so in that scenario I have been using Logic because the songs can be a high number count of tracks and I know that Logic is optimised to use the M chips much more efficiently. So its more of a CPU decision rather than a workflow thing. I know for a fact that Ableton has more CPU usage when using third party plugins over logic so I haven't taken the risk of loading large mix projects into it yet. However lately I have been using Ableton's built in plugins more and more for mixing and they actually sound REALLY good and its fixing the CPU issue. Check out this fellow youtuber's video where he mixes an entire track in Ableton and gets amazing results.

      Honestly the file browser in logic is the main aspect that slows down my workflow. I currently use XO by XLN Audio to act as my file browser in logic. I just got the 30 day trial of Ableton. So far it's okay, the shortcuts in Ableton seem a bit weird to me but i guess that's part of learning a new daw.

    • @WhoIsAlexElliott
      @WhoIsAlexElliott  16 днів тому

      @@hafeezadelakun1yeah it’s part of the learning curve for any daw. Took me a moment to adjust but I got great advice from a colleague to change my logic shortcuts to match ableton. So I streamline things.
      If you Love XO then be sure to make use of ableton built in Sound “Similarity feature” 🙌🙌. It’s same thing XO does and Ableton 12.1 will auto categorise sounds also, it’s in beta but when that comes it’s a game changer.
