Lovely work bro,, I'm 21 trying to get into production using ableton and seeing you do this on ableton live is such a joy for me! Blessings man from Kampala Uganda 🇺🇬
@@therealphil1-f9l no problem brother. Stay tuned I’ll be posting more stuff like this going forward ❤️. Ableton is much more powerful than many realise
Sounds great, plus great desk 🙂 subscribed! BTW I added the rails for the draw under the desk from amazon, just measure up. Makes the desk something else having the 2 sections.
That’s so true. When making beats without a vocal ontop they can feel emptier than they actually are. So maybe when an artist jumps on it, I’ll strip it back again 🙌. And glad you appreciated the rain trick 🔥🔥
5:11 I was going to ask You what you home record environment is like, and where do music, is it a flat, house? Nearly every time I want to record a video or do music out the monitors I get naighbors drill, banging or blasting pop music, shouting. I hate doing music in this thin walled block of flats.
I just make it work at home. There’s. Always some noise but I know I’m making more noise with my bass than they are. So I just make it work. The worst is the police sirens driving pass 😂😂😂
ok, I have a question/request: @ @2:40 - pls explain how you took the midi pattern from NI Electric Sunburst and dragged it up in to the instrument to create that chord progression? I didn't even know that could be a thing... and thank you in advance lol.
Oh I think I understand your question. There are two versions of the Kontakt guitar instrument. One says (melody). Use that one and you can play in your own chords
Alex is a great composer and a great teacher. Glad I subscribed.

"Before" could be used for the verse and "after" could be the where you have the hook/chorus..(if you wanted)...That trick with the rain was nasty..

@@WhoIsAlexElliott We get the police in My block and estate on a regular basis.
Haha sometimes I keep them in and let them feature for ambience 😂
@@WhoIsAlexElliott Thats a topic for a whole other video "Found Sounds" 😉.
Indeed haha 👌👌

So I didn’t actually do that. I actually played and recorded that midi myself. So I can therefore move it wherever

It’s cool but the more we add the less space is left for the vocals. Unless it’s just an instrumental indeed.
Thanks for sharing your feedback
Brother let me send you the ableton skin I use I think you will like it..
I’m up for checking it out. But I REALLY LOVE this one. Plain white with the colours popping in the back is my vibe!
@@WhoIsAlexElliott Yes but Try this black I will send.
Ok 👌
