I started TF2 before watching Muselk, but his uploads from six years ago probably continued my passion for the game. To this day I still play, having around 3500 hours. TF2 is one of those games you never really quit, you just take long breaks from it.
This hits the nail on the head on why tf2 is so fun for so so long. I've seen a lot of videos and discussions about how its the hitboxes making it satisfying to hit people or how the memes and community make it relatable etc etc. Although these are important, the fact you can FEEL yourself improving at tf2 everytime you go on makes it so rewarding and so addictive.
it is nice to see my boy muselk talk about this game and how it is still kicking (also it is nice to see him talk about solar knight and his demo knight videos)
Started watching your main channel back like in 2013-2014, when you had around 4k subs since i has watched a STAR_ Market Gardening video and stuck with you since then. TF2 and consequently, you, Star and Jerma brought me into the UA-cam and Twitch media and I have been imprisioned since then. So I don't know if i should feel grateful or curse you for this addiction. The point being; TF2 has always been a perfect combination of timeless aesthetics and gameplay, all desgined for rmaximum enjoyment for both the casual and addicted gamer, and having content creators that depict this so well.. no wonder why it's still alive and kicking 16 years later.
As someone who fell in love with TF2 with the help of your videos but never played Overwatch or got very much into Fortnite, it’s easy for people like me to call you a “traitor” or think that you don’t like the game anymore. But to watch a video like this where you basically geek out over how great TF2 is and show that this game still holds a special place in your heart makes me really happy.
I remember being apart of the traitor group for a few months. I didn't say a whole lot other than a few times. Maybe 3. Regardless I remember being happy with Overwatch content. It was a great time to enjoy the game and the content. Then when fortnite hit. It was also fun as hell. But as everything slowed down. It became clear to me how he was doing youtube for awhile. I took a break from his content. After 1 year or something. I always loved his content. No matter what he did now. He'll always be the rocket jumping solider to me. One of the greatest that will not be forgotten.
Hearing you call taunts, emotes, hurt, but still, its glad to have ya back. You brought so many people into tf2 in the past, and I hope many more will come from this video. Also valve hasnt even been monetizing tf2 properly, all of those leagues with prize pools are people putting in their own money, not even valve, in fact from a leak, this isnt a joke btw, there seems to be under 5 developers actively working on tf2.
Man, seriously, no matter how much time passes, you will never stop being a tf2 enjoyer. Even though life happened and I've stopped playing video games all together, if there is one game I come back to just to have genuine fun and enjoy playing, its TF2. My profile picture says everything. Once you've played this game for a long enough time period, You will forever be a tf2 fan. The best and the most loved video game ever. Nothing will ever top this masterpiece.
Hi, wanted to say you making this video was really nice. I watched your content as a kid, and would tune in every week for Tryhard Tuesdays(/Wednesdays). I cannot remember any in-jokes about it anymore, but, I assure you, I was there. Watching your content inspired me to hop into the game more often and become a better rocket jumper. I wanted to be, as my eyes saw you as a middle school/early high school kid, a Legendary Trolldier God. I never put TF2 down (for long) after that. I am not a Legendary Trolldier God nowadays, but I can clear a tier 5 jump map given 20 or 30 minutes depending on how caffeinated I am at the time. I do appreciate the bringing up your transition from TF2 to Overwatch, and the community response to that shift. While at the time I also slipped into the Overwatch bubble, I do remember feeling that "traitor" feeling that was mentioned. I was no better, obviously. Early Overwatch was unironically a blast. However, a lot of people had the perception that you didn't quite appreciate what TF2 did for you, being a launchpad to your career. It is nice to have this dedicated piece showing that you really do appreciate the TF2 community as it stands and what it has done for you, and all of us really. Keep doing your best, and have a good one.
thank you for recognizing this game as such an important part of your history as a youtuber, im not gonna pretend i used to watch your vids but im still glad your here. i recently hit 1000 hours on tf2 so im very excited
It's been a while Muscle K. Glad you still have that passion you always had in gaming. May have stopped watching as you moved to games i wasn't huge on, but I'm happy for you man
yet again, his main channel now only consists of fortnite which seems to be the main cash grab at the moment. however, it isn't as popular as it was back in 2018-19; i just really hope that he sticks to his original personality more than a more scripted version of himself, but that's just me
Yeah, and just picture all the people that join TF2 because of it. I'm not a fan of Fortniter kids, but more players is more players at the end of the day. If we can keep getting more generations of players into the game, TF2 will probably never die.
@@waltss8896 I was too. But at-least the games we played were cultured and were arguably much better than what late Gen Z and Gen Alpha are growing up with to this day.

I never comment on videos. Probably been almost a year if I had to guess since I have. But this video made me so happy. Muselk tf2 is what got me into gaming. Tf2 was my first game ever and when I looked up how to play it, muselks video was the first to come up. I grew up with these two things being the most important thing in my childhood brain. I swear this brought a tear to my eye. Thank you muscle k❤️
I still remember the amazing market gardener montages you used to post on the TF2 subreddit back before you were a huge UA-camr. Honestly when you blew up during the Fortnite craze I felt kind of round that someone spawned by the community I was part of had made it so big. All these years later you're still making amazing videos
I remember when you first started playing OW, and seeing everyone's reaction, it made me kinda sad seeing it. I kept watching your videos when you made fortnite videos (Not OW I wasn't into the game at that time) and understood that as a content creator there just wasn't much more for you to cover in TF2. You had been making videos on it for so long, and I just want to say that I really appreciate the effort you put into the community!
i experienced the excitement of finding myself in a tf2 muselk video in 2016. i was 12, and a big fan of muselk. thanks elliot, it’s good to see this content will never die
I started watching this video not even recognizing your voice and then I saw your face. I haven't watched one of your videos since 2018 back when I played Fortnite in middle school. Goddamn muselk you're still just as good at making videos as you were back then. Keep up the great work
Dude the video is so good! I really like this indepth informative kinda vid and it was still entertaining too! You can really tell he put a lot of effort into it and it really paid off 👏
I first subbed to muselk years ago because of his TF2 content, I think he had around 80k subs at the time. I'm so happy he's gotten to where he is now after all these years!
I remember waiting excited every morning when i was 7-8 years old for your tf2 videos, that i would watch before i went to school. Thank you for those days, legend❤
I started watching your videos at the height of my TF2 playing. Moved to Overwatch with you as well, but never felt the same connection with the game. I got TF2 as part of The Orange Box and played about 1,000 hours. It was, until about 5 or 6 years ago, my "old faithful" game that I'd probably put a few hours a week into. I dropped off watching your video's when you went to Fortnight but this just popped into my feed and I had to watch. I might give TF2 another whirl, though I'd need to get my skills brushed up again. I remember when TF2 went F2P, that was a month of some serious kill farming with my love of playing the spy. Newer players just didn't know how to counter it to begin with.
It feels weird to see you coming back to TF2 again, even if it's for a single video. But it's not an unwelcomed surprise. Though to be honest, while it's people like DasBoSchitt, kitty0706, and others who had shown me TF2 through Gmod, you are among the first that has shown me TF2 through TF2. And while it may have sunset behind Overwatch and eventually Fortnite, I still reminisce the times you come in, Rocket Launcher blazing, hitting those God-Like Killstreaks. Though I suppose the beginning portion showcases TF2's greatest strength, and in my opinion, the major reason why, even after the years of no true updates like Jungle Inferno, or Love & War, or MVM, or any updates of similar ilk, it's got to be the community's dedication to the game and its brand of humor. It's kind of like why Gen 4 MLP had survived for so long within the pop culture lexicon even as it did eventually sunset as well. They both hit just the right mark to becoming as big as they did, coming after the Wild West Age of the Internet, and before the Corporate Megacity Age of the Internet and the Great Sterilization. Where it isn't the corporate entity that dictates change and growth, but rather the community that surrounds the icon. Where cartoons can stay in stasis as people dedicate their time to talk about what makes it great, where old gems become more well known because of the greater speed of word of mouth. The two came in at the right time, and while TF2 might never bring in numbers like Overwatch or Fortnite will, I feel confident that TF2 can survive within our minds, even once the game itself dies. It is more than just iconic, it's a bonafide master piece of culture in the late 2000's and early 2010's.
Known TF2 because of my man Muscle K here. Watched all of your vids from Spy trick stabs to Rocket Jumping antics. Loved the game and still do. And I'm glad that the legend is back at it
Truly inspired me to re-download the game and play it again once more. Tf2 is and always will be my favorite game ever since I played it for the first time over 10 years ago

I started TF2 before watching Muselk, but his uploads from six years ago probably continued my passion for the game. To this day I still play, having around 3500 hours. TF2 is one of those games you never really quit, you just take long breaks from it.
@@billnye7323 same except I have 6k hours now lol
We love you, even if you don’t play TF2.
This just shows, that you cared ❤
You could die and he wouldn't even notice.
@@declan7551 and what is the purpose of this comment? like isnt no one really notice if this guy dies?????????????
This hits the nail on the head on why tf2 is so fun for so so long. I've seen a lot of videos and discussions about how its the hitboxes making it satisfying to hit people or how the memes and community make it relatable etc etc. Although these are important, the fact you can FEEL yourself improving at tf2 everytime you go on makes it so rewarding and so addictive.
Just watched the Elmaxo video, and was one of your older tf2 content enjoyers. You hit the nail on the head here.
Cheaters, boters, haters and even Valve: How are you still alive?
TF2: "I didn't hear no bell!"
"I did not have permission to die!"
Valve on the surface has complete apathy to anything and everything
@@CharaGonzalez-lt7yw sounds like maybe the surface infected their internal stuff as well
When the world needed him most he cameback.
it is nice to see my boy muselk talk about this game and how it is still kicking (also it is nice to see him talk about solar knight and his demo knight videos)
One of the greatest that will not be forgotten.
wow, i was not expecting this! What a great and refreshing video!
Glad to see the legendary return.
It's just a testiment between these two
Hearing you call taunts, emotes, hurt, but still, its glad to have ya back.
Nothing will ever top this masterpiece.
yeah, there's just something about tf2 that keeps you coming back
Im happy to know he knows his roots. And the game that will never die and can always welcome him back
Edit: thanks for the likes
He's only back into TF2 content because his views dried up.
Always loved your vids, regardless of what you do. Hope that you’re doing well and focusing on what you want more than other distractions
he has returned

I miss the good old days.
Thanks Muselk, I had a lot of fun with your videos and tf2 back in the day, glad to see you feel the same way
thank you for recognizing this game as such an important part of your history as a youtuber, im not gonna pretend i used to watch your vids but im still glad your here. i recently hit 1000 hours on tf2 so im very excited
Muselk: "As well as great area of effect damage"
Also Muselk: Shows direct hit gameplay*
Muselk was one of the first TF2bers that I ever watched, and to see another TF2 video from him feels special.
Glad to have you back
It's been a while Muscle K. Glad you still have that passion you always had in gaming. May have stopped watching as you moved to games i wasn't huge on, but I'm happy for you man
I really wish he would of uploaded this to his main channel. It would of gotten over 100s of thousands of views and covered way more viewership.
yet again, his main channel now only consists of fortnite which seems to be the main cash grab at the moment. however, it isn't as popular as it was back in 2018-19; i just really hope that he sticks to his original personality more than a more scripted version of himself, but that's just me
Yeah, and just picture all the people that join TF2 because of it. I'm not a fan of Fortniter kids, but more players is more players at the end of the day. If we can keep getting more generations of players into the game, TF2 will probably never die.
i mean tbf the fortnite kids today are the same as the kid i was when i first played tf2@@JeffarryLounder
@@waltss8896 I was too. But at-least the games we played were cultured and were arguably much better than what late Gen Z and Gen Alpha are growing up with to this day.
honestly the freedom you have in tf2 is something ive never really thought about. when i first tried overwatch i remembered thinking junkrat was basically demoman. was very disappointed at how stiff jumping with his explosives feel
Muselks love for TF2 really shines through here. Takes me back almost a decade!
Thank you for all the love and commitment you have to this game and this community.
Man this is so heartwarming to hear. Tf2 which has been an almost unanimously life changing in people’s gaming experience still being preserved by said people is amazing. Muselk you were one of my main reason that tf2 was such an enjoyable game because of how creative you were with it, and ever since I was first able to boot it up, I’ve never had a single bad experience! Thank you and every other person that has kept giving the game its much deserved love
"Good news! We're not dying! We are going to live forever!"
every tuesday i was so excited for try hard tuesdays. been watching you for a while man keep it up
1:11 the fortnite guy? Nah the tf2 market garderner guy with a wizard hat.
been a viewer of yours for a long time and it warms my heart to see u play the game again
I grew up with TF2.. its was my love and passion. recently I remembered this masterpiece after almost 10 years of not playing and Im craving to get back to it one day... Cheers to all the lads playing it still, you are legends. Great video though
Return of the king
Muselk coming back to tf2 was surprising. Making this kind of video is even more so. Love it honestly. Cool format of video and hopefully it will take off
this video means alot to me right now. i never watched muselk's content much, but i always really liked it, and im glad he got back to an old favorite of his. tf2 and muselk are truly inseperable
Always nice to see you come back to your roots man you made me fall in love with tf2
You would not believe how happy I was to see the Elmaxo video with you. I remember when you moved on from TF2. I was sad, but I knew it had to happen. I'm... glad there's one final conclusion to this.
i still remember watching you back in highschool and that was back in 2013! Man it sure brings back memories! Def one of the most engaging videos youve uploaded in ages!
Bro what a trip down memory lane! Muselk you are the entire reason I got into tf2 so thank you so so much!
I started playing very recently, already love it a ton. The depth is just unmatched.
Glad to see that the vid turned out nicely! New editor, good luck, bring glory to the Muselk channel~ 👌
elmaxo is definitely the inferior Soldier main tho gotta say 😆
Muselk, you got me in to PC gaming and specifically TF2. even though I don't watch your content very often, since I don't vibe with overwatch or fortnite, I still believe you are a legendary content creator, and you hold a special place in my heart. Thanks Muselk.
This is amazing content, why isn’t this a main channel video
Pretty sure I saw you in a match with Elmaxo also, but I miss you man. Watched you a lot back during the invasion update and slightly before that in 2015. Glad you never fully abandoned ship with TF2. I've played since 2008 and still enjoy it to this day.
I've played tf2 for 1k hours when i was going to highschool in 2014-2016 and it was pure fun! Especially, cosmetics and taunts make this game more fun. I can remember how i was having fun in the deathrun and saxton hale servers.
Loved this video mate, hope to see more Tf2 again in the future
such a quality video, never stop bringin em in muselk
The legend is back 🎉🎉🎉
i experienced the excitement of finding myself in a tf2 muselk video in 2016. i was 12, and a big fan of muselk.
thanks elliot, it’s good to see this content will never die
I started watching this video not even recognizing your voice and then I saw your face. I haven't watched one of your videos since 2018 back when I played Fortnite in middle school. Goddamn muselk you're still just as good at making videos as you were back then. Keep up the great work
Dude the video is so good! I really like this indepth informative kinda vid and it was still entertaining too! You can really tell he put a lot of effort into it and it really paid off 👏
Seeing some of the greats come back (jerma and muselk) to tf2 just warms my heart
Im not 100% sure but I think they're sitting next to each other at 1:08
I first subbed to muselk years ago because of his TF2 content, I think he had around 80k subs at the time. I'm so happy he's gotten to where he is now after all these years!
I remember waiting excited every morning when i was 7-8 years old for your tf2 videos, that i would watch before i went to school. Thank you for those days, legend❤
Rocket jumping into landing on someone with a shovel is probably the most skilled gaming move in existence 😂
Just wanna say dud, I really do adore your tf2 vids. Thanks for all the wonderful memories and hope your doing well.
10:02 4 rockets in the WHAT!?
*I would like you to repeat that, good sir.*
I MISS YOU BABY
God damn! I didn't think that the end of a muselk video would make me teary eyed, but it did.
I'm not into CoD or fortnite so it always warms my heart to see muselk with a TF2 video every couple years. Can't wait for this year's Halloween event
Miss you, man! I hope this means you'll be coming back, at least for a little while
You dont know how happy I was when I saw this video pop up. It brings sooo much good memories😊
Known TF2 because of my man Muscle K here. Watched all of your vids from Spy trick stabs to Rocket Jumping antics. Loved the game and still do. And I'm glad that the legend is back at it
don't worry mate I used to watch your vids many years ago when you were grinding tf2 back when I was trying to run the game on a HP laptop. Very fun
Truly inspired me to re-download the game and play it again once more. Tf2 is and always will be my favorite game ever since I played it for the first time over 10 years ago
And the former king returns.

People knowing Muselk as "The Fortnite Guy" is absolutely crazy considering many of us old fart TF2 players still remember the golden age of TF2ubers with STAR_, Jerma985, Muselk, and others.
This is an absolutely wonderful video timing and cues are amazing
I didn't expect a video like this from this channel but I loved it. I hope you do more scripted content, even if it's not about tf2.
