It got 8th place due to two categories that really that are not that important to me - price and warranty. Take those two out of the equation and go by performance it took a close second to the NRX LP...I have the Asquith in a 6wt and it is nails!!!!!! Love it. I am in the market for a light presentation 5wt and I need to see the comparison up close...Steve designed both blanks, correct?

I got my 8wt new for $800...still expensive but more in line with other rods. Wouldn't have bought it for $1,000
