I actually haven't covered much ground in the river either, hoping to get out a lot more often this year. Fishers pond is a great spot, was able to get lucky with a decent Brown trout there last year. Happy fishing👍
Was taking care not to over handle the fish, it was identified as an Atlantic salmon based on the corner of the mouth not extending beyond the eye as well as the presence of spots on the gill plate.
I’ve never walked down that river..I’m gonna give it a shot now lol. I caught a nice 25” salmon over at fishers pond in late October this year

Well done on handling that fish, gloves off cold wet hands for sure on that one but way to respect that fish awesome to see
Appreciate it! That April water is cold, but the excitement of landing a fish is a good distraction. Thanks for watching, happy fishing👍.
What a fish! I've gotta learn how to catch those.
There's still some time left to get out this year, I happened to lose the only one I hooked this year. Happy fishing and thanks for watching👍
