- Join me and my buddy Captain Dave Adrian as we head out of the Buffalo Harbor for some early evening fall walleye At Night: Fishing With StickbaitsWe explain how we do it so you can cash in on those chunky walters. Just because the Lake Erie bite has slowed down, doesn’t mean that your walleye fishing is over for the year. The techniques we use are simple and easy to fish and produce great results. Having the precision trolling ap on your phone so you can dial in for the right amount of line for the stick bait and the depth you are fishing, will guarantee greater success. Make sure you have your navigation lights so you are seen by other night fishermen.

@@JimHanleyfishing I like how it started with a nice bronze back!
I thought so too!!
that looks cold but you caught them pretty good
Yes it was
does this work in the fall the same way?@@JimHanleyfishing
Yes. Great night time pattern for walleye
How fast you pulling ?
@@tommycrump1 the Niagara River current there is about 1.4-1.7 so it adds to the action of the lure as we’re trolling up river, so the net effect is we are trolling about 2mph. Thanks for watching and commenting
I fish lake in the springtime jigging Port Clinton Ohio
Great place to catch walleye. Thanks for watching and commenting.
is it possible to catch walleye at night from shore? im in fort erie
I’m sure you could catch them casting stick baits from shore in the spring. I see guys doing that on this side in April and May. Thanks for the great question
How deep is the water
8 to 10 feet.
