      Topwater?

    • @MountainStateAngler
      @MountainStateAngler  4 роки тому

      @@dateacher303 Believe it or not yet. I didn't think walleye eat top water. Always wonder what it was at night that would splash top of the water. It only works at night when they come feed shallow. I use a floating jerk bait, after two twitches it re-surfaces and that's when they smack it. They are not good at hooking into the bait for every 5 hits I hook one.

      @@dateacher303 did you watch video...topwater lure

    • @dateacher303
      @dateacher303 4 роки тому +1

      I watched it but I don't consider a floating rogue a topwater lure because it still dives a foot or two. A pencil lure or something like a Vixen, frog, etc are pure topwater lures. I use floating jerks and slow rising jerks for eyes -- HJ, rogues, 6th sense, etc. Good stuff though! Ya'll need to bring some pliers! Be safe and tightened! Headed out tonight but northwest!

      Thanks for the tip David, never knew. It does have a red light on it. Does the red light not bother them too much?
