- This is workout 4 of Coach Ali's single dumbbell strength training workout series specially made for 40+ years audience. In this workout we focus on shoulders and related muscles as well as obliques (love handle region) for 30 minutes. The aim of this workout series is to bring you focused strength training workouts using a single dumbbell so you can workout at home with Coach Ali.
If you're focused on muscle size and strength as well as improved bone mineral density then this workout series is for you.
Each super-set involves 40 seconds or dumbbell weights exercise performed twice with very limited break in order to elevate your heart rate in to your fat burning zone while improving your muscles and bones.

I am 44 years old and a beginner, so I used 2, 3 and 5 kg dumbbells.
I workout only at home and workouts like these are a blessing.
I didn't burn even half of the calories you burnt 😂 but that's very individual, I guess.

Hi Coach-- love the workouts. I am a female, 65 and I use 10 & 12 weights for this.
Love the exercises, well explained thank you coach Ali, im 57 using weight between 15 and 10 lbs and sometimes 5lbs. Hopefully I'll be able to lift more weght in time.❤
