I've been speaking English for many years so I think I've got a pretty good grasp on it. I've been lucky enough in my life to have lived in many different countries and have been exposed to many, many accents over the years. Listening to others speak English with very little accents to almost impossible to understand accents has taught me that as long as the idea is understood, accents are just cool to listen to no matter how different it is to your own. I love accents from all over the world. That is why during my search on UA-cam to hear various English accents, I found English with Lucy. On one video she had you and an American girl, Vanessa as guests teaching us about the differences between British, Australian and American accents. And that, Emma, is how I found your channel. Loved the lesson (even if I really didn't need it) but I really love your accent.

I’m burning the candles at both ends. Working from home and looking after the homeschooling kids while Melbourne is locking down, it kills me. I snapped at my kids today because they didn't follow the homeschooling schedule, and I felt I almost bit my husband's head off when he allowed kids to watch TV prior to finishing their activities. Everything is falling apart at the seams. Lol! Emma, it's just a homework paragraph, I am coping alright, much better than the situation in my story. I hope you can take easy and relax. Hi Emma. How are you doing? Well, this lesson has definitely come just in time. I can't tell you how much stressed I am nowadays! I got so much on my plate. I have to take care of my grandma who suffers from Alzheimer, I am unemployed and can't find a good job with a high salary although I am qualified, I have to deal with my close-minded and insensitive relatives who put me under pressure etc. I have reached the breaking point many times recently. What keeps me mentally and physically healthy is doing exercise. This is the way I deal with stress. Anyway, thanks a lot for the lesson. I learned lots of great idioms and phrases. Have a nice weekend and take care :)
Hi Emma, I have been following you for a year. You have made a great contribution to me, especially my pronunciation have been enhanced by imitating you. Thanks for all the lessons love u ❤️🌸
My job as an auditor always make me stressed. The things that make me stresses out is when I have a deadline to submit my audit report to my boss. I get under pressure to finish my assignment. Finally I can relief my stress when I have done my job.
Thank you for the lesson! Emma! I love english idioms!!! It’s jus so interesting to learn them! When I’ve got too much to work, I also quite often say ‘I’ve bitten more than I can chew’.
Hi Emma~ Here's my paragraph: It’s only three days left before the first lecture of this semester. I feel very stressed and under pressure to study my graduate program. The enrolment and orientation have already made me run into the ground since they’re all in English. After an entire day’s online events, I snapped at my mom because I was really exhausted and lost my patience. What a day!
Great! (Good luck with your studies, too!) "There are only three days left before the first lecture of this semester." ✔️ "The enrolment and orientation have already run me into the ground since they're all in English." ✔️
Thank you, your lessons are a delicious hot pie to eat with enjoyment...I like to watch your lesson in the morning to fill myself with the positive energy you so generously share with us. Be strong and prosperious! Best regards from Ukraine.
Your video, Emma, have I watched and analysed, which took me two sittings in two days. Now for two days I will digest it. All words and phrases have I looked up in addition in dictionaries noed down in my notepad kept at my handy ( your words as you see) and have memorized them. If further so, making an English speaking person from me seems inevitable. Stress was for long years fashionable till covid-19 replaced it. Both indispositions are of course invented by politicians and physicians for the sake of them and their businneses and never existed in reality. Great and lesson, Emma in every aspect. My greetings.
I expected You would bite my head off out of this comment, Emma. But You approved it. Thanks for nice words and answer. Yes, I sacrifice much time for mastering English it is true, but I do not burn the candle at both sides, much less work myself into ground. I find time to be on meadows, for jogging, for gym. So nice that You find time to answer my comments.
I have been in quarantine by four months and at this point I'm really stressed out, but fortunately your videos give me a little distraction so I can resist the lockdown without getting crazy. I belive that I have improved my english a lot since I'm trapped in my house, thanks emma and thanks netflix jeje.

Hi Hazmath! I'd like to invite you to visit my channel. There you will find grammar classes, pronunciation tips and much more! I'm looking forward to seeing you there!

(Great use of those idioms and expressions though!)

Another great idiom, Antonio!
What a day!
Great! (Good luck with your studies, too!)

I do not know specifically what stresses me out but this lesson has worked for me as a stress buster.
🙌
You didn’t stress me out again!
Thanks so much for this lesson, I would have understood these expressions in context but I haven't had them sorted out. Thanks!
Thank you Emma.
I can tell that you're putting a lot of work into learning and improving your English! Thanks for learning with me, Pawel!
Thanks dear Emily! You are wonderfull. Being under pressure is sometimes good thing. ❤️

From time to time we are all stressed due to problems in our lives. But we shouldn't because of that run ourselves into the ground and snapping at our close friends and family mambers. Thanks for this lesson:)

I am doing A/Ls this October by Pure Maths, Applied Maths, Chemistry, Physics . So I am fully stressed out now. My parents are also incredibly busy with full of ambitions, hopes about me. They can look stressed. On the whole, at the end of the day, I am completely burn out for doing more exercises and doing more past papers. I know I am under a lot of pressure at school and at classes because of not enough sleeping..
Wow, it sounds like you have a lot on your plate Sachini!
