Hi Ema! This is my misadventure.. last year (2019) i went to the U.S with my family for our vacations. We just had arrived to the terminal when I received a call from my son to let me know that he was delayed due to a traffic jam caused by an accident. This was just the beginning of the most weird and awful vacations. For example! We had just entered my son’s house when my wife suddenly bumped one of her toes into the inside latter. In the mean time and a couple of steps above her my daughter did exactly the same thing but on the opposite foot. What are the possibilities of something like that happening to a mother and daughter at once? The next day the family had just started to set things up to go for a ride when my stepdaughter called us from the highway to notify us that she’d just had a car accident which caused her a total loss vehicle. Fortunately she and my grandchildren were alright. The next day for some reason I suddenly fainted and had to be rushed to the nearest hospital delaying once again our family road trip. The next day while just arriving to a resort when we entered our room my granddaughter climbed and fell off a bed cutting her forehead on the impact so she also had to be taken to the nearest hospital for a check up. And last but not least our last day of vacations we had exactly arrived to a beautiful park when my grandson unexpectedly had a nose bleed for at least 20 minutes and my son had to call his pediatrician for advice and support. All I know is that I already had my worse vacations ever and the next ones will be the complete opposite.
*I had decided to leave when the boss called me for a meeting *The prices had already increased when we bought plane tickets. *She had just looked around for help when salesperson appeared.
This morning, when my husband was going to hit the road to work, he realized that he had left his mask in the bedroom on the 4th floor. I had just been downstairs (didn’t take my phone with me) when he phoned me to bring his mask to him so I didn’t pick up the phone, I had no idea. When I met him downstairs, he told me that and I had to go to the 4th floor to get his mask. I took it a morning exercise 😅

You used adverbs, nice I appreciated. or should I say " I had appreciated right after I read your sentence."😊
@@Obliviousovertimer17 i think that the past perfect rule doesn't apply to your sentence, because reading and appreciating happens at the same time.
