its hard to explain but worth the money, sure you most definitely unsure whether to spend 1000$ for a mere led rather than smth like 7900xtx but it is worth
Tbf it's not as demanding as games like Cyberpunk or Dragons Dogma 2, it has a lot of room to squeeze in more visuals or performance. Even on my previous RTX 3060 with reshade it looked amazing.
@@udubultra I played Final Fantasy 9 with the whole insane mod pack for the game and I was truly impressed at how even some older games can have that extra level of immersion on widescreen.
I'd highly recommend the Upscaled All-in-One Megapack by the way. Takes some tweaking to get it stable and a lot of downloading, but it truly makes the game look like it was released this year. The clarity is astonishing.
Hi, one thing I highly recommend you try is playing with DLDSR x2.25 and DLSS. RDR2 is quite blurry on anything less than 4k, but DLDSR really helps to sharpen things up.
I was looking for this comment! After I tried this wonderful option from nvidia in rdr2, I was amazed at the clarity of the image, now I turn it on in all games! By the way, I play on rtx 4070ti and of course sometimes fps drops to 40 per second with a dslr, but usually even 60 fps keeps stable!
@@xawk6485 You know I only use this on RDR2 to remove the blur. But since your comment I tried DLDSR + DLSS with forbidden west and wow, it looks so much better. I usually run my games with DLAA, but I'm now beginning to wonder whether I should play them all with DLDSR + DLSS. The increased clarity makes a huge difference, and performance is pretty much the same.
I used to do this on my 1440p monitor, I would play it at 4K using DLDSR and combine with DLSS quality, excellent image quality, make sure you are using the latest DLSS version or you are shooting yourself in the foot. Now that I have a 4K 240hz OLED I have lost access to DLDSR because of the use of Display Stream Compression (Nvidia problem, not a DSC problem) However, since I am at native 4K now I find DLDSR is not needed, 4K and DLSS is all that’s need for crispness, however when playing at 1440p or below this rule does NOT apply!
When you eventually buy a PC, prioritise getting the BEST monitor possible, anything OLED will do the job, or even wall mount a OLED TV and game on that, what ever you do, please don’t spend loads on a expensive PC and have just an OK monitor, I did that and I regretted it, now that I have an OLED monitor I realise that display is more important than a beefy GPU….
Was just playing this today on the 39" and in my opinion its the best size for me. Truley amazing. Oled is an instant improvement on graphics with this game!
I went from a 34" 1080p ultrawide to a 29" 4k monitor, and loved the quality of the image at 4k. Then I upgraded to a 34" 1440p ultrawide OLED, and I love it. But coming from a 4k monitor to 1440p I can definitely notice the pixels, not much while playing, but when watching video or web browsing I can definitely see them. So I can just imagine at 45", I'm sure after some time it won't be as noticeable while gaming but videos, and web browsing must be interesting.
With a wide enough monitor you kinda want a slight curve in your monitor to get the best viewing angles even for the very edges of your monitor. Apparently this monitor has a curve of 800R which is quite a lot, too much for me personally. But using a monitor like this with no curve at all wouldn't be the best experience. The best curved monitors have a curve you don't notice.
I agree this monitor’s curve is too aggressive, a wider curve like 1000R is perfect on a 32:9 display because it’s the same curvature as the human eye and seamlessly immerses your vision to the point where the screen doesn’t even seem curved anymore, at least in my experience
Rockstar 🔥🔥 And this is from 2018, 6 years ago! Now imagine what their next GTA would be. I have played some Western Shooter games in the last 20 years and I can say the RDR2 was the most beautiful and amazing one of them.
Maybe you should have turned off DLSS because it severely distorts the image. Moreover, if your graphics card supports it, setting the resolution scale to 1.500 would make it look more original.
I absolutely love what they are doing with these monitors. However, the only thing holding me back from getting the 39" model, which is my "perfect" size, is the resolution of 1440p. It is to low a resolution to stretch across that much screen, imo. once they come out with the newer 4k ultrawide monitors, I shall grab one. Can't wait! also, less screen curve would be preferable.
@@lamborkgaming7726 I haven't done a direct comparison, but here is the mod: www.nexusmods.com/reddeadredemption2/mods/1965?tab=posts There's another mod out there I haven't tried yet that forces DLAA in the game which I need to try at some point too

Those monitors are amazing but rly a double-edged sword with the whole aspect ratio changing and issues. Many games still dont support 32:9 and only a decade ago did they start supporting 21:9.
