As someone who’s played both D2 and Warframe for several thousand hours each, I gotta say that I’m glad you have Warframe in the rotation. They both have their ups and downs but coming back to either game is a good refresher over time
Optimism, enjoyment and still actively reading the instructions and understanding context... that divide between Destiny and Warframe in the algorithm must be steep for me not to have found you sooner.
@@LiShuBen Yes, but I think Wukong is also a newbie trap, similar to Revenant, just overlooked, because it doesn't have the "Press button to become immortal" gimmick. That said, Valkyr is my most used frame for Lich and Sister killing, with Gauss and Protea being 2nd and 3rd. They're also not exactly the most difficult frames to play :)
Man, your videos are really heartwarming to watch. The genuine enjoyment you have right now reflects my first experience playing this game way back 2021. One must know that you still got a lot of things to look forward to that some of them might be jaw dropping, lore-wise. And some, the panorama of some open world areas. One thing i can suggest is just do what quest pops up in your quest menu.
As a LR3 and an ex destiny 2 sweat, I’m so happy to finally see ppl from destiny 2 coming over to warframe. It’s the biggest breath of fresh air on your gaming mind and wallet.
I have to admit it is strange to see people making the opposite transition I made several years ago. I was a hardcore Warframe player for years. I practically refused to acknowledge Destiny 2's existence. I finally switched around the end of Shadowkeep going into Beyond Light because the endgame grind in Warframe just got entirely too tedious. Too many resources for too many things. Long real time crafting timeframes. And all the best farms took at least 30 minutes to even start being worthwhile in terms of rewards. This new shift has definitely peaked my interest to see if DE has fixed most of those problems.

@fantasticthemood I had a feeling. I tried jumping back in like 2 years ago, and everything had felt the exact same. It's nice to see people discovering it for the first time. It's definitely worth the journey, but the long-term replayability drops off hard once you've maxed out a few of the most meta weapons and frames. You get locked into a very small range of useful builds in endgame, and that gets boring fast.

It's one of those games you can always go back to and find something new to explore. I might have to revisit the Plains now that I see from this video that they added some fast travel pads and maybe reworked the bounties.
@@costanzafaust it's also one of those games where you leave for a year come back and some of your mods have been surpased by much better mods, the daily/weekly things to do list has gotten more options. your inaros has gone from an unkillable god to talking to a weird cat that gatekeeps LVL 250 content and flee's the scene...steel path enemies can hit suprisingly hard and that's level 101-180 ish i do not feel like i'd be able to do anything on lvl 250 other then beeing the guy who scrapes other people off the floor...and i think that's not even an option there :P but at the same time started playing in late 2012, still starting it from time to time not many games can claim that.
If you didn't notice already, energy shields prevent you from being one shot, as the shields will absorb any final hit of any amount of damage, then you go invincible for a moment before you take health damage. Well this is the case for enemies too like the Corpus, which is why your bow often does not one shot them, as it first destroys their shield, exposing their health. However, toxin damage entirely bypasses shields, and if you hit weakpoints like the head, some of your damage bypasses the shields as well so headshots more reliably will one shot kill. For corpus MOA robots, the head is actually by their chest, the top is their gun which deals half damage if you target that.

I need more of these videos! I'm a day 1 founder with a few thousand hours played and eventually stopped playing a couple years back. There's something about watching his joy and seeing him actually having fun with the game that feels nice. Especially in this current hellscape of gaming. It really does feel like watching a kid on Xmas morning.

My favorite thing about warframe that keeps me coming back is the community. Each community member is always so excited to see new people. I've recently started playing too, even bought a steam deck and genuinely love playing it on that instead of the pc at times. Already lost sensation in my legs I was using my steam deck in the bathroom for so long. Love watching Mactics progress as I'm a little further ahead so not getting spoilers but at the same time the veteran players support/advice is helping me understand facets of the game along with do's and dont's. I'll join a clan and start trying to understand the game on a deeper level in due course but for now i'm just enjoying clearing nodes on the maps, short missions etc. I love that it's as much or as little of a grind as you want it to be. Always played D1/D2 and this has more than filled the void left from leaving that game behind, if anything I wish i came over sooner but glad I still have so much to look forward to.
When I found this game I dropped 3k hours into it, Watching you as a new player brought back so many good memories I had when I discovered this game and started my journey

i have been watching your content since your first warframe video and as a veteran i really hope the game grows on you the way it did on me. keep up the amazing work
One tip for very fast movement, do a slide and then click on jump twice to absolutely nyoom through everything. If it’s a tight corridor only click jump once so slide then click jump once. Another tip is if you’re in the air and you wanna get back on the ground fast without hard landing you can hold the slide button and you’ll start going down much faster and stopping yourself from hard stomping the ground with some sliding on the ground too. Hope this will help as it did with me

There’s a saying with warframe. “It gets good after 100 hours” and it’s extremely true this game is a learning curve but it’s a lot of fun once understood

Of all the videos i watched of people getting into warframe you are the FIRST to actually take time to read the sugestions and figure out the mechanics,that is what separates those who get hooked and those who leave early,you still have plenty to learn but your disposition to learn will take you very far man From fortuna on the game becomes a little harder,and you will start to meet more tanky enemies Here are some tips for fortuna and general >ALL ENEMIES are HARDCODED into missing their shots the more you move,if you simply sprint or stay behind stuff you will get hit >corpus robots got their faces between their legs,you been shooting their guns all this time(yeah,they literally have their guns in their back like amazon robo dogs) >this you probably already know,but if you tipe a doubt in the general chat you will get LOTS of answers from veterans Before the tutorial remake veterans were the tutorial >As a new player you will have to deal with limited inventory slots,ideally you want to take a few weapons to help you,but the other will be used a "mastery fodder" (weapons that you will level up to level 30 to earn their experience points and then sell to make space) >Dont worry if there is a wepon thst you really liked bit falls shorts of damage,many weapons have upgraded versions (prime,vandal,wraith,kuva,tenet,incarnon,prisma,etc) with higher base stats!! Tip: when in navigation, go to symbol that looks like circles connected together. There tou find Sanctuary Onslaught and Elite Sanctuary Onslaught. First one is used to level up frames and in ideal conditions, you could go from lvl 0 to lvl 30 in under 10 mins. The elite one is used only to level up weapons because your equipped frame should be max lvl.

One video ago, you are a measly new player. Fresh out of the box. Now, you've purchased an heirloom pack, gotten yourself some sick new looks, And got some anniversary weapons. It's really nice to be able to see a new player experience Warframe When it's been, this worked on compared to its beginnings.
To craft alot of new earlygame weapons you want to go to market click on the weapons tab and click on the button near the search bar which hides all weapons without blueprints. This leaves you with all the weapons you can craft. It will say you need plat but if u click on the weapon it shows you an option to buy with credits which u should do.
My recommendation in Warframe, “always be building” (weapons, frames, companions). Need that XP to maximize grinds. Which leads to my second Warframe maxim, “always be leveling something new”. Keep one fully leveled/modded weapon while leveling others.
Seeing someone try out the game and enjoy it is so precious. You're in for a once in a lifetime experience because when the game clicks for you there's no turning back.
I think one of the best things about warframe is that the premium currency called platinum is used as the currency for trading and can thus be obtained for free

that's one of my favorite things about the game, there's almost zero loading screens. Even when there are loading screens, there's almost ALWAYS something happening, so it never feels like it.
The first time I played Raining Blood on the Shawzin for some randoms in a mission, everyone immediately halted what they were doing to come and listen. It was wild when it first came out. Good times.

Hey Mactics, just to let you know I'm happy that you are playing Warframe. I myself also play Destiny, and have clocked 4.6k hours in that game, while also having easily over 10k hours in Warframe. Can't wait you to find out about trading, and about how you can earn the premium currency called platinum(the equivalent to Destiny's silver) through trading with another player. Meaning, that even as a free to play player, you can earn every deluxe skin, buy any frame that is vaulted(does not mean gone for ever, since everything is in a rotation), or decide to skip the crafting process of any gear just for playing the game. In my opinion this is the best feature of the game, and should be made known to any gamer out there that is considering playing the game
u got me to start playing again. I got to like mastery 8 but I literally just never had a clue of what to do but now that my homie with like 300 hours is showing me its way more fun. There’s also this app called alecaframe that shows you how to craft like everything and where to get all the parts for it and a ton of other really helpful stuff. It’s helpful with like relic rotations and all that once u start doing that u can sell prime parts and stuff on warframe market for plat.
Tip: Never upgrade mods level by level. Always upgrade said mod to the max at once! The endo system is tricky, if you upgrade said mod at once you'll spend 30K endo, for example. But, if you upgrade it to the level before the maximum and then, aftewards, try to maximize it, you'll spend 20K plus the final 30K for the last level, therefore you'll spend 50K endo at total. These numbers are an example but overall that's how it works.

The open worlds are a deep well to fall into. Recommend you focus on the start chart to “muscle up”. There are enemies in the open worlds that’ll literally stomp you at you current level.
I attempted to play Warframe a couple days ago and got so overwhelmed immediately. Had no idea what I was doing. Easily the most convoluted game ive ever played. Maybe im just slow.
Hey, the community is always up to help new tennos, if you need anything ask me, also, if you feel lost there is a video thats like 3 hours long that pretty much explains your progression until mid to late game, I can pass you the link if you want.
The mastery rank tests get a little more intricate, so practicing some of them would be a good idea since if you fail you have to wait 24 hours to do it again.
I have like 400 hours (Its not that much compared to other veterans) and I play Warframe since the release of Prime Access back in 2014 I think. There is a lot of things that changed over the years that I wasnt aware of, but its so great to watch these vids because I love wf so much and I love that so many ppl are discovering this game Also I was a Destiny player too since the beta of D1, but due to being in Latam I really cant afford the expansions so...Warframe my beloved

Mactics there is a bundle that offers 3 slots for warframes, 2 slots for weapons buy that from your free plat it only cost 30plat in the game

My favorite thing about warframe that keeps me coming back is the community. Each community member is always so excited to see new people. I have a learning disability, and entering new games is always hard for me. that's why I always try to help out in warframe whenever I can. Love this game. Glad you love it too

I've recently started playing too, even bought a steam deck and genuinely love playing it on that instead of the pc at times. Already lost sensation in my legs I was using my steam deck in the bathroom for so long. Love watching Mactics progress as I'm a little further ahead so not getting spoilers but at the same time the veteran players support/advice is helping me understand facets of the game along with do's and dont's. I'll join a clan and start trying to understand the game on a deeper level in due course but for now i'm just enjoying clearing nodes on the maps, short missions etc. I love that it's as much or as little of a grind as you want it to be. Always played D1/D2 and this has more than filled the void left from leaving that game behind, if anything I wish i came over sooner but glad I still have so much to look forward to.
As a MR27 there is so much beauty in someone discovering warframe and watching them figure stuff out great content my guy
When I found this game I dropped 3k hours into it, Watching you as a new player brought back so many good memories I had when I discovered this game and started my journey

i have been watching your content since your first warframe video and as a veteran i really hope the game grows on you the way it did on me. keep up the amazing work
One tip for very fast movement, do a slide and then click on jump twice to absolutely nyoom through everything. If it’s a tight corridor only click jump once so slide then click jump once. Another tip is if you’re in the air and you wanna get back on the ground fast without hard landing you can hold the slide button and you’ll start going down much faster and stopping yourself from hard stomping the ground with some sliding on the ground too. Hope this will help as it did with me

There’s a saying with warframe. “It gets good after 100 hours” and it’s extremely true this game is a learning curve but it’s a lot of fun once understood

I love what you're doing with Warframe. As a player with 6k hours in, I also appreciate the attention you've been giving to the game. The more people that know about it the better for it's future. How can any real gamer or, even new gamer, watch this and go "that doesn't look fun". I personally feel it is the greatest game ever made. Of all the videos i watched of people getting into warframe you are the FIRST to actually take time to read the sugestions and figure out the mechanics,that is what separates those who get hooked and those who leave early,you still have plenty to learn but your disposition to learn will take you very far man
From fortuna on the game becomes a little harder,and you will start to meet more tanky enemies
Here are some tips for fortuna and general
>ALL ENEMIES are HARDCODED into missing their shots the more you move,if you simply sprint or stay behind stuff you will get hit
>corpus robots got their faces between their legs,you been shooting their guns all this time(yeah,they literally have their guns in their back like amazon robo dogs)
>this you probably already know,but if you tipe a doubt in the general chat you will get LOTS of answers from veterans

>As a new player you will have to deal with limited inventory slots,ideally you want to take a few weapons to help you,but the other will be used a "mastery fodder" (weapons that you will level up to level 30 to earn their experience points and then sell to make space)
>Dont worry if there is a wepon thst you really liked bit falls shorts of damage,many weapons have upgraded versions (prime,vandal,wraith,kuva,tenet,incarnon,prisma,etc) with higher base stats!!

I have been playing warframe for about a year now, so watching a new perspective on it is really fun. Enjoying the content.
"I could play this as much as I play Destiny" THAT is what I liked to hear.
Tip: when in navigation, go to symbol that looks like circles connected together. There tou find Sanctuary Onslaught and Elite Sanctuary Onslaught. First one is used to level up frames and in ideal conditions, you could go from lvl 0 to lvl 30 in under 10 mins. The elite one is used only to level up weapons because your equipped frame should be max lvl.

One video ago, you are a measly new player. Fresh out of the box. Now, you've purchased an heirloom pack, gotten yourself some sick new looks, And got some anniversary weapons.
It's really nice to be able to see a new player experience Warframe When it's been, this worked on compared to its beginnings.
To craft alot of new earlygame weapons you want to go to market click on the weapons tab and click on the button near the search bar which hides all weapons without blueprints. This leaves you with all the weapons you can craft. It will say you need plat but if u click on the weapon it shows you an option to buy with credits which u should do.
My recommendation in Warframe, “always be building” (weapons, frames, companions). Need that XP to maximize grinds. Which leads to my second Warframe maxim, “always be leveling something new”. Keep one fully leveled/modded weapon while leveling others.
It's really fun watching you making ur way thru warframe. I hope I get to be here when u encounter some of the freakier bosses.

that's one of my favorite things about the game, there's almost zero loading screens. Even when there are loading screens, there's almost ALWAYS something happening, so it never feels like it.
The first time I played Raining Blood on the Shawzin for some randoms in a mission, everyone immediately halted what they were doing to come and listen. It was wild when it first came out. Good times.

Hey Mactics, just to let you know I'm happy that you are playing Warframe. I myself also play Destiny, and have clocked 4.6k hours in that game, while also having easily over 10k hours in Warframe. Can't wait you to find out about trading, and about how you can earn the premium currency called platinum(the equivalent to Destiny's silver) through trading with another player. Meaning, that even as a free to play player, you can earn every deluxe skin, buy any frame that is vaulted(does not mean gone for ever, since everything is in a rotation), or decide to skip the crafting process of any gear just for playing the game. In my opinion this is the best feature of the game, and should be made known to any gamer out there that is considering playing the game

you can click middle mouse button to select a whole stack of mods at once instead of having to click the buttons with the mouse.
I spent so much time grinding to unlock Gara but she became my favorite one I did. The sense of accomplishment was so worth it.
u got me to start playing again. I got to like mastery 8 but I literally just never had a clue of what to do but now that my homie with like 300 hours is showing me its way more fun. There’s also this app called alecaframe that shows you how to craft like everything and where to get all the parts for it and a ton of other really helpful stuff. It’s helpful with like relic rotations and all that once u start doing that u can sell prime parts and stuff on warframe market for plat.
Love new tenno reactions to things. Keep it up man! I am a founder too but I was only Disciple level cause I was broke back then.
Tip: Never upgrade mods level by level. Always upgrade said mod to the max at once! The endo system is tricky, if you upgrade said mod at once you'll spend 30K endo, for example. But, if you upgrade it to the level before the maximum and then, aftewards, try to maximize it, you'll spend 20K plus the final 30K for the last level, therefore you'll spend 50K endo at total. These numbers are an example but overall that's how it works.

The open worlds are a deep well to fall into.
Recommend you focus on the start chart to “muscle up”.
There are enemies in the open worlds that’ll literally stomp you at you current level.
I attempted to play Warframe a couple days ago and got so overwhelmed immediately. Had no idea what I was doing. Easily the most convoluted game ive ever played. Maybe im just slow.

The mastery rank tests get a little more intricate, so practicing some of them would be a good idea since if you fail you have to wait 24 hours to do it again.

the key is to always have always have things crafting so you are never waiting on things to mastery level

I have like 400 hours (Its not that much compared to other veterans) and I play Warframe since the release of Prime Access back in 2014 I think. There is a lot of things that changed over the years that I wasnt aware of, but its so great to watch these vids because I love wf so much and I love that so many ppl are discovering this game
