I agree that the Nisi filter is the best choice, both for its looks and the fact that the Fuji lens cap fits perfectly. You might also point out that in addition to protecting the lens, it renders the X100VI weather resistant, (as other filters do.)
I basically have your latter two things and opted for a Clever Supply leather strap with Peak Design anchors, so we’re practically set up the same way. I agree with you 100%. I keep mine simple. Last thing I want is to make it into a Transformer. I’ll leave that to Sony shooters like you said.

The leather strap probably looks great with the x100vi! Yeah 100% keep it simple, if I wanna complicate things I have my Pentax 6x7 😂
