Elex said “LA spends more money on homelessness and it’s only gotten worse” but he didn’t have the guts to tell that to Karen Bass to her face

This guy was raised to be a politician. Don't understand how California votes for a person that flat out lies constantly. Literally said no one should be dining indoors and he is caught at one of the top restaurants in the United States and then still lies on the first lie that he was not inside. This alone shows how much he does not give to bleeps about anyone but himself getting more powerful and leaving a legacy like they all want (politicians). He is not the only one either 90% of our governing body lies from local, state, & federal levels! It's sad

Why is Newsom on TV again talking about Desantis? He says he isnt running for President. Why talk about national news when Galvin has so much issue in his own state. More results and less talk Galvin. Why didnt he mentioned that California has a $68B deficit. Why wouldnt he tell 5he interviewer?

Thank you soon much governor Newsome. Closing facilities is original sin. Reform process and more community based behavioral health and addiction.

That all sounds great but unless there is one person or one team coordinating all the different efforts and auditing the money, there's a lot of potential for corruption and no problems solved. It seems like homelessness is a whole industry and a lot of people make money off it but not enough people are helped by it. Just my thoughts

Newsom won't do a thing about homelessness. His record so far prove that.

"millionaire" means nothing in CA. Simply owning a single family home here means you are a millionaire. It doesn't mean you're rich. (Not speaking as a single family home owner btw.)

The problems that cause issues like alcoholism start when young. Problems with this tool is the people are too far gone to help at this point.
Newsom and his type have formed a state of mentally ill and losers.

@@robertplant2059 Whether or not the problems have started with these people when they were young or adults,is not the main issue. The main problem is,there are too many people in our society, and the world, who could care less about what other people are going through. They are too busy, looking out for their own interests as usual. It does not take much to help someone out if they have a serious problem like an addiction;that they are dealing with.Just because someone is far gone,it does not mean that they should not get any help somehow, someway.

@@robertplant2059 I am not a Democrat or Republican.I fo not play politics when it comes to peoples lives.A human life,is far more important than any politician,or political party. Was it Newsome who formed a state of the mentallly ill,or losers?Just because someone is mentally ill,or struggling with an addiction, does not mean they are losers.Thr real losers in this world, are the ones who are corrupt, selfish, and only for themselves.

@@bluefanclub430 I as a non white immigrant fully agree that quality of life is most important. I ask as a previous resident why the quality of life of the vast majority of LA/CA citizens is garbage, during a large period of time when the Dems controls the mechanisms of change?
Is the current Government working now and for the future? Is CA better now than 30/40 years ago?
My girlfriend when I lived in LA wanted to go see the fireworks for the 4th, well in LA at the time, probably still the same, the show was at 2AM due to gangs. There is no tailgating in CA due to gangs.
The weight of immigrants, legal and illegal on the system is why the system works so badly. The 1% has always been here, what changed? Why in my area was the bronx a nice place to live pre 1960 and an jungle post 1960s? who moved out and who moved in? I asked because CA mimics the change and the increase in problems.
Then add the knob bllks that need to compete with their gangs, the cost to the residents is devastating.
Here I googled this about the 1960 census. Could be filling cities and the countries solely there for $ may not be the best idea.
Nineteen out of every twenty of the 179.3 million persons in the United States at the time of the 1960 Census were born in this country. Of the 169.6 million natives, 119.3 million, or 70 percent, were living in their State of birth and 45.8 million were living in another State.Oct 8, 2021
BUT THE EFFECT OF THIS TYPE OF THINGS ARE NEVER QUESTIONED, YOU REALIZE 1/3 OF ALL INMATES IN THE CA PENAL SYSTEM ARE ILLEGALS? HOW MUCH YOU THINK THAT COST THE SYSTEM AND FOR HOW LONG?
SO DO YOU REALLY WANT THE BEST FOR ALL?
