Of course he did. One side, Hannity/Trump/half the country believes the proper mental state is to demonize the other side, pretending that us in the center are “liberals”. Newsom on the other hand believes that each issue has solutions and those solutions are neither left nor right. They’re both, always have been and always will be.
Hannity promised that this interview would be without 'Interruption'. "I did promise the governor that I would give him a chance to respond to each question without interruption" yet, Hannity interrupted Newsome's responses on nearly EVERY question.

From someone who thought that Gavin Newsom was one of the heads of the liberal goons, I will happily admit that he opened my eyes here. Newsom is a very intelligent man and he had the guts to come into a foreign environment to have his views challenged. The fact that he was open to having a discussion about every single Republican talking point and debate the facts really impressed me. I was completely wrong about him.
Either way, he's horrible at managing his state.

There was a PBS documentary decades ago in which some Bay Area liberals got a film crew and drove to the California mountains to talk civilly with right wingers. The conversations were civil, a lot of calm explanations and a lot of listening happened.

However, FOX News just recently settled with Dominion voting systems (1.6 BILLION) for 787.5 million. I don't care if you're left or right: all I want is more interviews like this. Not everything is black or white, and I appreciate the (relatively) civil discourse between 2 people on opposite ends of the political spectrum.

For example he says close to being 4th largest economy when in reality only reason we became 5th was because the uk is doing bad and Germany is still 900 billion more gdp which would mean Californian would have to raise their gdp by 30 pct. Last statistics that came out says 34 pct of people live in poverty in ca in 2021 and has gotten worse with cost of living continuing to go up. Our tax rate is crazy because of how high minimum wage is if you have a job that pays 25 pct above minimum wage you're in a higher tax bracket that takes 29 pct of your income compared to 16 pct if you make minimum wage so basically better off working a minimum wage job than a skilled job that pays a little more.
Now imagine if someone could actually get biden to sit down and get some tough questions

Gavin Newsom is attractive, tall, and looks like an anime character. So shallow people will mindlessly support him/his views. However, a lot of what he said, was simply untrue, or illogical.
For example, he talked about dealing the best hand that you are dealt in terms of giving free money to illegal immigrants… In terms of free college, free medical, etc…. One thing that he left out of the conversation, is that when you offer those incentives to illegal immigrants, the psychology of human brains is such that wayyy more illegal immigrants are going to want to come across *in the first place* .
Also, I don’t think they giving illegal immigrants free healthcare, IS best for the country. I think it bankrupt the country, while selfishly benefiting the illegal immigrants.

@ActionAlex Newsom didn't say a single fact. Cost of living has gone so crazy since he became governor a cheap 1 bedroom goes for over 1,000. Poverty rate is really in the 34 pct area because anyone making less than 47k a year is in poverty if you look at how much it cost to live in ca. The biggest growth in economy is in the section with real estate because cost to buy a house has doubled and so has gpd for selling them. If you take away close to a million illegal immigrants that came into California last year the population of ca went way down from the number he uses.
