California Governor Gavin Newsom perhaps got more attention than any of the actual Republican candidates at the GOP debate in Simi Valley.
Right beforehand, we sat down with him in Westlake Village for an extended conversation.
We discussed the state of the 2024 race & his place in it, his upcoming debate with Gov. Ron DeSantis, bills he's recently signed, George Gascon & criminal justice, the Bobby Kennedy Jr. presidential campaign, and his kids' cell phone use.

Good interview, Elex! I don't agree with Gov. Newsom on many issues and it's aggravating to hear him politik the way he does on issues but I do enjoy these conversations overall.
