      Thank you Bigo, you're exactly right and I'd even add to your point that some cars need this process more often than yearly, electric cars release less brake dusts generally this one wasn't too bad. ✌️✌️

    I just put Mohs Evo on my car 2 weeks ago and I'm very impressed. The slickness is unlike most other coatings and with the hydrophobicity has made it easier to clean. I've paired it with Hero for my routine rinseless wash and feel I have enough slickness for both washing and drying without needing extra products.

  • @viperrcr
    @viperrcr 3 місяці тому +1

    If you are doing a alkaline prewash, then an acid wash, should you follow with a neutral soap wash or do you think that is overrated/marketing hype? I saw someone do the alka foam, then rinse, then the acid foam and then a neutral soap in the bucket. Great vid, thanks Frank!

    • @chrisbradley3224
      @chrisbradley3224 Місяць тому +1

      I just rinse after acid soap like Purifica or Descale. IMO if the soap cannot be rinsed off with just water, the soap is poorly designed.

    great video man. love watching the progress you've done on your videos.. great editing man. i wish to get to this level some day. but question, do you have a video of you prepping this Tesla 14 months ago? IF so, what products did you use to prep? I want to ceramic coat my Tesla Model Y this weekend but i'm not sure which panel prep to use and how much to polish bc i heard tesla paint is really thin... wait nvm, i just watched the video and you said it was PPF'd LOL.

      Hey Jefferson thank you, I dont have footage of application I didnt have a youtube channel back then. The process was the typical wash/decon iron clay, polish one-step and gyeon prep + 1 layer of gyeon mohs evo. 12hours inside to cure. Only the front areas are PPF'd

      Hey Rockets thank you dude. I cant speak about it's durability on it's own but very easy too use, absolutely no streaks to speak of and smells good, the slickness is okay but not like amplify as expected. I'm more of a coating guy + drying aid regiment than using stand alone sealants.

    • @Detailing_Dogma

      In my experience both do very little to unclug coatings. We'll go over d'escale ph soon but at 1:200 there's almost no acidity in there. Just a good slick soap cleans well but it isn't water spot remover or something like purifica.

    Frank first of all - awesome work! Secondly - did the car had 1 or 2 coats of mohs on it? I've heard that it performs at its best when 2 coats are applied and topped with cancoat (that's a sandwich that I have on my car). After 6 mohts it's like new, no decon as of yet bcs it doesn't need it ❤️ Still you saved that coating! Great job!

      Only 1 layer brother Vic, you've got quite the GYEON powerhouse on yours 🤙. I have a active 2.0 but I'm due for an upgrade soon, will talk about iron the channel eventually. @@Detailing_Dogma It was a little work but we like it don't we? 😁 But hey if a coating has to have only 1 layer and it performs as good as stacking it, why not? Haven't found one yet though.. I've heard great things about Active 2.0 (very VERY good bang for buck!), Cars with Keav says active 2.3 is good too! But there is no Active here in the EU. Man i envy your setup, MTM rulz but as of yet i only found their foam cannon, looking intensly for their gun as i'll think i love it (the trigger says to be butter smooth and easy on the hand! I would love it...), yeah only Karcher Cubes down in the US and Canada, but man you aint' missing much - it's medium-low grade in my opinion, thats why im looking to upgrade. Cheers bro! Keep it up!
