My first attempt with the sign pro was a challenge. Half way through a long sign the letters fell out while routing. This ruined the sign. Next, Im using a fixed base router which is not the best choice for this kinda work. A plunge router would work best. The letters I did produce were nice and straight.

Those Turnlock bushings are downright dangerous! They screw into place so that the router bit spin direction is trying to Unscrew them. And if following an inside template pattern (eg an inlay) the action of following the inside of the pattern clockwise also unscrews the bushing. And when that happens, it is not a pretty sight - smashed bushing, ruined router bit, and destroyed workpiece. The bushings should be changed so that they screw into the baseplate (the "Turnlock" bit) in the opposite direction.
