    Has anyone worked out how to do a dollar sign using this kit? I'm thinking use a large S, then change to the smaller bit and bushing, and carefully position a smaller i over the S, see if one line is enough, or whether two can fit side by side

    Not sure if this video is still monitored but I do have a question. For short words the rails are too long to be clamped on a smaller piece of wood. Do I need to run an extra board to make up the difference? Thanks

      We recommend securing support pieces of the same thickness on either side of the work piece. Making sure that the work piece itself is still secured.

      The purpose of the bushing is to keep off the sides of the template and follow the edges without having to see. You just have to trust and do a little practice before making a real piece so you get the hang of it.

      @@Sparky9450 it's almost impossible to see what you are doing. Some of the spacings don't look right either,

      I spray all my sign blanks blue with a light coat from a rattle can, I can see my routing and I can sand away that blue coat immediately

    What is recommended depth for 3/4 inch wood thickness? Is their a chart

    • @milescraft
      @milescraft  2 роки тому

      There is not a recommended depth, as this is up to the user and their preference.

    Can you tell me if this with fit a Katsu Router Trimmer on it's own or with the plunger base?

      You need the sign kit base for using this kit. Freehand wouldn't be too controllable.
