I picked Up, that its Not ideal to have 90° Angles in the Ventilatiin system, Air flows best when as little pressure or friction AS possible. Cars Work the Same way. great Video
My carbon filter came very dirty, covered in black powder. It got all over my hands and table when taking out of the package. I'm thinking this thing is used? Have you ever heard of this?
I come from the aquarium hobby and do have heard of this... I wouldnt think much of it, probably from manufacturing and shipping. aquarium filters with active carbon always have some at the bottom of the box.
@@DoingtheDeal yea it was spider farmer. I asked them what is up with it and they just said its definitely not used and because its prefilled and its just dust that fell out durning shipping. Im not exactly thrilled about it but its not the end of the world. The more I examined it I would say its probably not used but it did make a dirty dusty mess of things that day. It is what it is at this point.

Thank you for the question. We have not yet decided. Most of it will depend on what is available in our area. We do intend to start from plants and not seeds.
Hey man, i ask myself how to put one or 2 automodes online? Is it on if the "Low Humid" blinks for example? And how can i reset the modes and lock them in? Appreciate your Videos ❤ Greetings from Germany 🫶
Great questions. When it is blinking it is running the automatic mode. If will will run until it falls back into the range you have selected. To set the modes cycle to the settings you want. (Low humidity or high temperature for example). Once on the setting use the up or down to set the desired temp/humd. From they they should be locked in. Cycle back to auto mode. Should be all set from there. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@DoingtheDeal it just made me think that the air is filtered before going into the fan. If i got the filter outside then there's a chance a buildup could occur over the long run if the fan is pulling unfilteredair. Maybe i'm just thinking too much about it. I'll leave it as is, thank you for your response!
I think a lot of it may depend on your space requirements as well as what your goal is. I’ve got two blowers going. One pulls air through the filter and out of the grow tent. This one is used to help regulate temperature and humidity. The second. Sits on the floor of my tent. It pushes air through the filter and back into the tent. Might be over kill but it does well on any smells. I hope this better helps answer your previous question. I apologize for my original lace luster rely.
@@DoingtheDeal its my first grow setup so i'm excited to start some seedlings. I have an outdoor harvest inside currently drying but having a hard time eliminating odors, maybe if i turn up the pump to cause a vaccuum. Any tips on that? Thank you so much for your responses, they really help!
@@isaiasanchez1987 I was having some issues with smell as well but not while drying. That is when I added the second blower. Originally I had it in the room outside of the tent to filter that air. Worked ok but had to have it full blast. Decided to move it into the tent to work with the other blower. Seems to be doing well on the smell. I plan to run it as is for drying as well. So not sure on that. Definitely worth a try to up the blower speed.

Definitely seems odd. I have not had that issue. I would definitely contact the manufacturer? Is it from spider farmer?

The room is coming together nicely! What cultivars do you plan on growing in the 4x4?

Does this smart controller just turn the fan off and on to keep it in the right temperature range and humidity range? Great video
Thank you for watching and thank you for the question. That is correct. It will vary the fan speed from 1-10 depending on how much is needed.
@@DoingtheDeal this is not true. It will only activate the fan at the "on" mode speed when it exceeds the triggers and nothing else.
The temperature control is simply fan speed to exhaust over-temps? There’s no active peltier inside adding heat or active cooling?
Thank you for your questions. That is correct. Also does the same thing for humidity. Both on the high end or low end of whatever you set.

@@DoingtheDeal Thank you a lot, i really appreciate it! 😃
Everything is working fine now, time to grow ✌️🔥
Wish you good luck on the harvest days 🐇
Happy growing
Is the controller battery powered??
Thank you for the question. No. It plugs into an outlet.
I put my filter outside the tent with the fan inside pushing air out a duct INTO the filter. Is that wrong?
Thank you for watching and thank you for the question. Definitely not. I believe either way will work.

What will you be growing Lucas?
Thank you for watching and thank you for the comment.
In the 4x4 we will be growing Cannabis and in the 5x10 we will be growing Vegetables.
Hello Lucas can you tell me settings you have good experience with in growing Cannabis? Greetings
My controller beeps intermittently every minute or so when the light is on is there any reason for this it drives me mad ? Thanks
