Nonpro tip: RM2 clear grease is actually a product called Dow Corning #4 Electrical Insulating Compound. You can buy a 5oz tube that will last years for about the same price of 3 of those tiny RM2 containers of grease that can only build you maybe 3/4 diffs each.

Thanks for leaving the mistakes in. You could have easily edited it out, but you didn't. I think it's super important to show that mistakes can happen, everyone makes them, and they are not the end of the world. Backtrack, correct, and learn.
    Thanks for the videos!

Haha yeah, I was going to take it out but then I thought it would look more authentic this way as it was. Thanks for the honest feedback. Hope you enjoyed.

@@spencerrivkinracing I have been enjoying the whole series! It beats my 8 hour live stream build, hands down. 🤣
Also, thank you so much for coming out to Hobby Action today. I never knew the words "You're only about 2% off" could feel so good. 😅

You can hold the outdrives with two drivers or buy a jig from Klinic rc to set the right tension. Hold the outdrives from spinning and if you can turn the main gear by hand you need to tighten the thrust screw until it no longer slips. Break it in with a drill and 2.0 driver gently while tightening a smidge at a time.

Hey Spencer, any chance that rear wing mount will fit B6.4D shock tower? The individual mount is a pain in the booty to get lined up. Ended up hitting them with a heat gun so that my wing would sit level.

Associated should sell syringes since the grease doesn't come in tubes anymore.

Do you run ceramic bearings as well? If so, which brand?

Is this video I just used the kit bearings. But I typically use the Jconcepts bearings which are ceramic and highly durable

You order the syringes and fill them yourself?

You kinda surprised me here with the diff: In case of multi diameter thrust bearing washers, the one with the smaller inner & outer diameters should always be on the screw head side, so it can't touch the outdrive. (The B7D manual doesn't state anything about this though, so perhaps they're the same size.)
