Gotta shout out AMain Hobbies. As a fellow Californian, i went with you guys for the guts of my Kagama build. Best customer service!
Waiting on tire reviews HERE!!!
Now it's the hunt for 10ths. Which can be the hardest part of any racing. Solid data gives you big info.. and of course, seat time is the #1 tool in your box.
Love my B7, I put all R1 upgrades on it. I am very happy with the results.
Cool vid brett 👍 one brett too another, pls make more of these vids 😝👍
First W on a new car is such an awesome feeling. Good build guys keep em coming!
LOL, you guys just need a “buy everything you see here” button or shared wish list to make it easier on us!
for testing tires, you should try Schumacher fusion slim and Schumacher cactus rear. I would glue the sidewalls, fusions might have alittle to much bite, we like these tires for grey carpet and would like to know how they act on black crc. 👍🏼
Love this series.
AE cars are so awesome, that B7 is a ripper
Great video and the car looks great , thanks
Gotta love the B7!! What a car
I love these videos - thank you!
72/34 is what you probably want. It must be hot in there if that’s the gearing you need. Mine runs 130 degrees with a 72/34. My car is so fast!
Wow! That seems so high. You run a lot of motor timing too?
-Brett
(if you haven’t already) whitz offers ceramic bearings and aluminum motor screws specifically for their motors to create less resistance. according to whitz, the screws arent going to attract to the motor magnets, and could in theory give the car as much as 500 motor rpm
Really!? We'll look into that. Thanks for the tip.
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies WRP-SS-3PK is the screws, and WRP-MB-2PK are the bearings
@@endosrc Got them! Thanks for the tip.
-Brett
@@AMain_Hobbies i look forward to seeing the test!
I don't find that you need to replace rears with the fronts especially on black carpet..we end up scrubbing speed with the front tires so you can basically wear out a set in one race day. Get comfortable using acetone to unglue your tires and re-use your wheels. LOL.
Good note, will need to try that!
-Brett
With that wear pattern on the fronts I'd honestly try running less camber and/or less camber gain up front if possible.
Maybe go crazy and try some 4wd fronts aswell, I know the guys in Japan love them.
4WD fronts? Hmm. They look quite a bit wider but never thought about it. What's the advantage, just more weight and grip?
-Brett
You should do a video on how to place your esc in blinky
mode…
Where is this setup sheet?

racists?
jk
Excellent video series!
4:35 i had a motor with a can like that once, after every run there would be at least 1 small rock inside that i would need to remove or the motor wouldent run properly
Can you cut some very fine stainless steel mesh to wrap over the can?
@@fromthebackofmymind it was many years ago but i just wrapped tape around it in the end, kept the small rocks out
That setup looks very nervous on braking is what you don't want
I really enjoyed watching this video 🤘✌️
Brett’s going pro now 😜😜😜
Please video on outlaw 5
The car feels good
Awesome battle in the heat races. Traffic was the tale of the night. Congrats on the win Brett.
Thanks!
-Brett
Good freaking morning....✌🏻😁
Hello!
-Brett
Looking forward to my own B7.
Great video.
I’m in the homestretch getting my B7 finished! Those whitz bearings are no joke! 🧈
Sweet, congrats! Those bearings are seriously good!
-Brett
I would try to add gearing and pull a little timing.
