Nice driving man just got my b7 out for the maiden voyage yesterday! Definitely took a little getting used to over the b6.4 but I love how planted it feels. Drives/corners really well without a ton of chassis weight up front either just feels balanced
if the car starts to act wierd after its built check the shoks if they start to get rebound and need to bleed some air out of them. had done the same mistake of starting to fiddle with the diff as the car acted wierd loosing rear out of corner and landing bad after jumps but the problem where not the diff but shocks.
Not much for jumps there, the local club near me is hard packed clay, snd has some huge jumps, including a big triple jump. Its whip it race way in Reno Nevada
@@MX-CO I do agree , the thing is about this club and many other indoors clubs in the UK is that we build the track on the night , lots of clubs use schools and other venues and have to build and dismantle the track in a few hours. More jumps the better for sure! Sadly here in the UK we are not blessed with permanent indoor tracks.
Thanks for sharing
Very welcome!
Very cool! Interesting to see underneath the shell and the diff oil change
Really love the technical tips thrown in the video, as a beginner it's great to see the change and what effect you expect it to have. Keep it coming!
Great to hear!
great job dude that's a pretty good result for a first outing with a box stock car
Thanks man! super excited for the next few videos.. lots of setup work ahead!
What servo horn did you use mate. Building mine tomorrow and could do with some advice. Thanks in advance 👍🏼
Currently the plastic kit horn , soon to be upgraded along with the bell cranks. Good luck with the build!
Cheers. Don’t suppose you have a part number in mind for the servo horn bro 👊🏻

What diff oil would you start with on brand new black Crc carpet with 17.5? Thank you
Id probably check some US setups.. but something around the 20k marker!
Have you driven a MBS1 yet? Drove one at my local carpet track and it was pretty impressive. I have a pretty dialed 6.4
I must admit I want to get one on the channel to try! Could be on the cards… love a 6.4!

Awesome, I love mine! When’s your next race?
looks like a nicely flowing track layout.
Sure was!
What diff oil did you settle on?
I’d need to go back and check my notes for that one mate!
Do you run a zero degree aluminium bulkhead ?
Sometimes!
Do you run 30 degrees caster?

Very good points, 👌
Great video mate!
Thanks MH!
Can an RC10B5M still be competitive at local club races?
Id say yes! you might not be winning the main final but she will put up a good fight..
@SeanyRC Thanks I just bought a used one, it has some upgrades as well.
I haven't been able to find any weight comparisons, have they gotten a lot lighter from the B5M to now?

Not on this layout... One day im doing a US tour for sure!
You guys have gone so far away from off road you may as well just do away with the jumps.

How does it compare to the b6.4?
Lemon. Factory flawed rear caster blocks & far to narrow chassis kick up's! Stick with the B6.4 ! Its far more developed vehicale
What club are you at the mate
This is a club on the Isle of Wight , Isle of Wight Model Car Club!
@@SeanyRC love all your vids. Keep up the good work mate
Comments like this keep me pushing for bigger and better videos! Thanks 👍👍
Do you have custom painted b7d for sale or on sale
I dont sorry!
Not a fan of all the nose-dive, I prefer a flatter flight..
The ball diff is garbage. I destroyed 2 in 6 battery packs.
I haven’t tested one yet.. was it hard packed clay or loose?
Not after you learn to build them right.
@@SeanyRCsame question. What is he running on?
