    I am new to RC cars in general having only built a few small crawlers. The RC10B7D was my first race car - ever. I finished the roller by following along with these videos and referencing the manual. Seriously, I could NOT have done this without your help, Spencer. Thank you so much for making these videos. I would have fowled things up in a major way without your guidance and suggestions. Looking forward to getting the electronics in next, then painting (I am worried about that part).

    Do you not grease the o-rings with green slime etc?
    Thank you for the series 👍

    I would like to see the components you put in which ones you put in and why and when you get to a track what your changes are on the buggy to adapt to that track beyond just set up and any modifications to do throughout the year to improve the vehicle when you're allowed to. Just to have a professional show us how a vehicle evolves and grows into the #1 race buggy in its first year. The evolution of what makes a race car, stay a race car. Now that would be top level information, delivered in beginner to pro perspectively. Hook Line and Sinker, I'm all in. Your awesome Spencer, don't change... (to much)

    I really enjoyed the build series and my favorite tip was about the top plate. That being said, I would like learn more about what you look for when setting up your steering link for a consistent feel from left right any pro tip would be helpful and I just wanna end by saying thank you for taking the time to do so much

    Do you use normal steel screws for everything under chassis then JConcepts titanium on top items? Or titanium throughout

    Thanks for making this series, it really is excellent. My B7 arrived yesterday so I will definitely be re watching as I build it up in the not too distant future hopefully. If you don't mind me asking, what would you recommend as a good 'starter' motor in the B7 for someone who is new to modern buggies, which would be reasonably quick but not so overpowered I can get used to driving it without it being too much of a handful, I'm guessing maybe 10T but open to suggestions. I have much to learn!

      are you going to run stock or mod?
      if mod just get the usual engine that is run at the track you going to the most, for me its 6.5T and the power is not to much in the beguining if you turn boost and turbo to 0 and in whorst case turn down the timing on the engine same is for stock that its just about to turn down on the ESC to the day you need and can handle more power then turn it up again.
      as for mod engine its no good idea to get like a 9.5-8.5T and use as a learner engine and step up later to 7.5 and 6.5T just save the money and go for 6.5T right away as one learn quick to grow out of a under performing engine.

    I hate to bother you but I purchased at sc6.4 and the width is too wide for Roar rules do you know what wheels to use for Short Course?
    Thanks and keep up the great racing!

    AE needs to offer their race buggies in rtr form but with different levels of upgrades. I’d pay top dollar for a factory built buggy with all the options I can check off. Essentially a bespoke program.

    What's the difference between the carpet car and drit car

    • @extec101
      @extec101 11 місяців тому

      dirt got ball diff carpet got gear diff and might be more like height on rear hubs and with on wheel hexes and miner other parts.
      associated on the other 6.? platforms got a shorter chassi on dirt and shorter gearbox to get the motor further back for more weight in rear wheels other then that i dont know.

    I'm sorry any new car that has over 2hrs of 'build tips' has an instruction manual that is way off. Either in practicality or in theory or in both. Even after you already paid the 400$ for it. Folks this is a classic example of the YT algorithm focusing more on watch time than views/comments/likes/shares etc.
    Note - not an AE hater. I still hope for another rere of ole goldie (never had 1 new) and still maintain of all the 2wd mods i've race the B4 takes honors. -U10
