I really would’ve done the input shaft seal when you popped the bearing out…I admire your persistence. Nothing chaps my ass like putting some big together only to have to take it out again it can be really defeating

Always inspect your transmissions and check clearances if possible.
I’m going to try that Tall Pines stuff, been using the Torco fluid for a bit.

Excellent video. I had a similar problem. I actually had to check my clearances and change my shim.
You can check output shaft endplay with a dial indicator to confirm that your within oem specifications.
You might want to suspect the lsd. Throw a non lsd diff in the case to test it.

I'm going to try hydrotex. After you let us know. Synchro message is already really buttery smooth and you're right about Honda fluid. The new stuff is nothing like it was whenever you bought the stuff for a d-series training that stuff was actually really good maybe even close to synchromesh but once the bottle went green it made it to where you couldn't be mean and you would feel the little tooth of the gear through the shifter knob and it made you want to f****** gag

Glad you were able to get it all sorted out. You said you went with a lightweight flywheel this time, I thought in the install videos you said the "newer engines don't like them & cause CEL with misfire codes"? This is exactly what happened to my GE Fit when I put the lightweight flywheel on, I'm actually swapping back to stock tomorrow.
Are you using a Tuner or something to deactivate the sensors that cause the problems?

My brother just got a 2000 ex and for some reasons in 1st gear taking off we can feel a vibration while letting the clutch out we are not sure what the issue is tho we thought it was the clutch but it’s still doing it

Depends on a lot of things
Both transmissions have been great on track. There are aftermarket billet case options and internal dog bones that replace a gear at the top of the stack for even more strength.
Poorly skilled drivers wreck them. Imo either one is a great transmission.
