- Hello everyone,
I appreciate the time that Peter made for me as it was supposed to be a rainy morning. Despite the weather showing rain, we were able to make the interview happen and I am so glad that we did. Peter is very detail orientated and he is an eloquent speaker. I am super stoke to see what else he does to this Fit but for now, I feel that he is good. I hope he invites us back for his awesome RX7 that he is building. For now, thank you Peter for making the time and to everyone else who continues to show support. #automotiveanatomy

Great interview!!!
I just stood there, Peter did the amazing work.

Thanks Gus for the honor of being on the channel! Excellent work on the editing with how you meshed everything together. Couldnt have asked for a better experience, as you have a natural way of making it casual and fun! Keep up the great work you do for the car community ❤
The honor is ours, your expertise and time to share your build is amazing. We hope to continue to see a growth in the Fit community because of you.

Very Nice Job and VLOG. I still have both my One Off JDM GD3s. One is still Kseries Swap Turbo that was all custom parts back in 06-07, and my other is my Js Racing T1R L15 Turbo GD3 Fit with Bisimotos one-off stuff back in 07. OG Owner and will never let go off them. So much fun. Gorgeous GE8 and VLOG. 🙏🏻👍.Gotta take u for a in both my true JDM GD3s
Awesome looking FIT. I have a 2010 model with 293100 miles and so far it has been an amazing little car. I bought it used with 189000 miles still original engine.

K20 Swapped Honda Fit is the ultimate Tesla
On God

How ridged is the fit chassis compared to the older 90’s hatch and Integra chassis?

40:49 cult was the right word 😂
hahahah not a bad thing lol
so clean!
Really great video guys. Peter did a great job explaining and educating. I wanted to ask Peter a question, you mentioned that the L15b7 wasn't out when you did your K swap. If you have to do it all over again, would you stick with the K swap or go with the L15b7 swap?
What a great question man, I missed that opportunity.
Thanks for the very kind words @jsrebuilds!
Given where I live (CA and legal), goals of the car (daily driven street car with occasional track), I'd probably go with the L15b7. This would allow me flexibility to easily go between stock power and close to 300 or more, without needing to drastically change much/swap out parts in between the biannual smog checks. Additionally, the L15b7 would be easier to work on for general maintenance as well.
I'm not a hardcore "it needs to be NA and a screamer" but the torque for day-to-day driving us nice, and the L15b7,from what I've seen, generates more torque through the powerband than even the NA k24. For 350-400+ hp,the k24 definitely has the advantage, but don't think the fit needs more than that. I also have an LS rx7 that can satisfy the higher hp need,so your results may vary as well with that
The other alternative that came to mind was the k20c (non-type r) from the accords
Thank you @petawabit and @AutomotiveAnatomy for the fast responses. Your insights is very helpful and adds value to the car enthusiast community. Again thank you both.
My ge8 k20z3 was the answer to me wanting a crx
sounds great- I like the seats
Love ur honda videos
Glad you like them!
this is sick. I picked up an 09 fit about a month ago and just lowered it and threw on some advan sa3 g2's and been looking into k swapped ge8s. funny enough mine is an 09 but was repainted the same facelift gray
Wheels and susspension is all you need, they look great.
Just about to KSwap my CRZ and I am also going to try and BAR it.
I love his Fit so much. I'm like him - My first Fit I currently own is Milano Red. I'm not a huge fan as I'm afraid of the Milano Pink. I'll search out another 2nd gen in a different color in the future
Nice built boss
Would like a review on my fit but Peters is just way more proper than mine lol
It does seem like a nice experience to be able to do a show & tell car/life story. I built a boosted spec v and never showed it to the world all 7 yrs I had it. But this time around I’d love to get my K-Tegra out there while it’s in the works and then again once it’s completed so it’ll be a revisit to the channel 😎🤙
Peter is so OCD lol
Peter is a truly great dude and love the car too! Thanks for the shout out and the mention of my Orange Burst Metallic Fit. @adjustedfit
Thank you for taking the time to watch bro.
Love homies Chanel
Dude just sucks at breaking lol thats it I can just feel the car sickness lol
Question is do the AC work? Which radiator setup he's using and what shifter cables is he running?
Ac is intermittent currently. Radiator is a modified koyo, shared with the crz chassis. Hybrid racing racing 9th gen civic si shifter cables
Ok I have a k swap fit just asking what's your IG I can help you with AC mines works perfect.
I'm running the stock fit radiator and I had to mod my SI shifter cables cause there where to long and hybrid racing wants a arm and two long the ones they make for the fit.
What shot box did you use and what ac compressor?
TSX compressor, crz shifter box mod SI cables.
If you don’t mind me asking, what all did you have to modify on the CRZ shifter? I just picked mine up from the junkyard and noticed the slats had to be widened so the ninth GEN cables will fit in but the right cable that attaches to the shifter had to be trimmed down as it was too thick. Put the CRZ shift box in but the cable won’t go far enough back to go into third or first, etc..
I didn't have to do anything with the crz shifter box. K24z7 trans,9th gen si cables which trans do you have? If the k20z3,I've seen where people modified the shifter cable holder on the shift box side because there wasn't enough fore and aft throw
Dang it lol might have messed up. I have k24a2 with 9th gen si transmission and shift cables. I have the 9th gen shift box and noticed the slots the cables lock into was noticeably wider than the crz so I open the slots up to the same width as the si shift box. The slot for right cable that attaches to the bottom shifter was about a 1/4 thicker on the crz shift box than the si. I probably didn’t try hard enough probably cause I already had it on my head that it wouldn’t fit due to being thicker, but I could not get it to go in the slot without trimming some down to bring it to the same thickness as the si slot. Also comparing it to the si shift box trimming that 1/4 off the from of the crz shift box would have brought the cables about the exact same distance from each other relative to the si shifter. Didn’t think about the shift rod being different 🤦🏼♂️ and that’s probably why I’m having the issue I am. Cause it that cable was moved about 1/4 forward I wouldn’t be having this issue lol fml. I’ll have to improvise
I think you're fine if using a 9th gen civic si trans. I'm using that with 9th gen civic si cables and a crz shifter box. The situation in talking about is with a k20z3 transmission (8th gen civic si)
should the leafs on the fit always be full like mine is 4 and a half leafs all the time sometimes drop to 4 leafs, is that normal?
We've had a 2010 FIT with manual since new. We were contemplating a Kswap but the loud exhaust just makes it a no-go - PERIOD. Is there any way to keep the exhaust din at factory levels?
I recently put on the stainless exhaust I originally had made and it is very quiet( not like oem, but sonewhat close). Magnaflow muffler with an oem si resonator.
39:00 K is the way. 😂
How hard is it to BAR a vehicle in Ca.
What brand disc break conversion is that?
It's the whole rear torsion out of a crz. It now has larger 2 piece rotors in the rear
Slots* The shift box had to be trimmed down that is, not the cable.
Know anyone who does swaps in CA. Live way up north by Oregon border.
How many horses?????? christ thats the first thing and then mileage how much it cost bla blahblah!!!.....
K swap fits, insights and crz are the ultimate sleeper. They are usually looked over by people who will build civics, integras and crxs with random accords.
Honda bois will always appreciate!
Yooooooooooo
