Tom Green singing "Daddy would you like some sausages?" or "I'm the backwards man." has been living in my head rent free since I watched this film back in 2001.
Same here bro 🤣
ICONIC
My momma even sings that damn sausage song
@@frederickchino29😂😂😂
the guy who is reviewing the movie is such a normie he could not understand the humor.
The funniest thing about Freddy Got Fingered is that Disney now owns it.
Jesus 😂😂😂😂
Can’t wait for it to hit Disney+!
@@notchuckproductions5029 And now, it's come full circle.
Given Disney’s nostalgia pandering how long will it take for them to green light a sequel?
Disney owns everything now. It's not very funny.
"Dadddy would you like some sausage" still plays in my head at least once a day.
Bruh same
I want to eat chicken burgers!
It's the first thing I think of when I think of this movie.
Same, for over 20 years at this point 💀
I made it into a techno song
Korey, you forgot to mention the best part: Tom Green only directed the movie because the original director had quit. And after seeing the final product, who could blame him?
The director: *in a singing voice* "F**k this, I'm out!"
Tom had cancer at the time and he talked to other directors, but realized that they weren't right to direct his movie.
I mean, he's not wrong. I can't think of any other director who would make a movie like this. Even David Lynch would think this is too much.
Tom Green was aiming for a Razzy and achieved his goal.
Also watching this movie, you can’t help but think back in the day, “What the fuck did Drew Barrymore see in him?” I guess she finds him funny, but you know… humor is subjective 😂
He did this on purpose! lmao!
One of my favorite quotes regarding the film comes from Roger Ebert: “The day may come when Freddy Got Fingered is seen as a milestone of neo-surrealism. The day may never come when it’s seen as funny.”
He also said this, “This movie doesn't scrape the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't the bottom of the barrel. This movie isn't below the bottom of the barrel. This movie doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence with barrels.” Even talk shit about the MPA for giving this piece of shit an R Rating on his show, Ebert and Roeper.
That's a good quote
good quote but wrong. the movie's hilarious
@@SniperDiplomat 🤨
It still is funny.
He cared more about his scuba gear than his son or that shower glass door 👀😭😭💀
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Daddy would you like some sausage?" 🤣🤣🤣
Best movie line ever
So, the ending scene with the kid in the propeller, the studio was going to originally give it the NC-17 rating just because it was shown as is. The only way it got the R rating was Tom had to add the kid saying "I'm ok, I'm ok".
If the character had died right there, immediate NC-17 rating
Damn that's crazy
Damn....
Instead of dying, the kid's just horribly disfigured for the rest of his life. What a "great" substitute! 😆
@@thema1998no, he's ok, you heard him
Face breaking kid!
I honestly believe that Tom Green was pulling a practical joke on the studio by presenting this shit to them just to see if they actually released it
The Million Dollars from a studio and how he spends it is a comment on this movie.
90's Tom green was everywhere.
You got it! 😂
This guy humped a dead animal.
Let that sink in?
Still remember the theme song.
This is the tom green show not
The green tom show🎶🎶
Tom Green could be considered the Andy Kaufman of the 2000s because he did something that no one thought possible:
Trolled us with a movie so bad at first, that later on we are calling it one of the greatest troll films ever
Andy knew how to troll people and be light hearted about it.. Tom Green was okay doing just skits which some of them were funny as hell but in this movie his trolling became too mean spirited that even turned off some of his followers.. and back in those days that was very hard to do in that era but damn it he did it..
He's still no Jim Carrey....the much, much better Canadian comedian.
I don't know about that. Andy Kaufman was actually funny and kept people on the fence. Tom Green never convinced pretty much anyone with this movie, which is why so many just walked out on it.
He had been doing it since 1994 in Canada.
No matter how bad a day I have, hearing Korey and Billy crack up makes me smile.
Went to see this drunk with my boys and we were drunkenly dying laughing. Watched the DVD with my wife and I laughed more so because she was cracking up. . .now at 49, I just watched it last month and I laughed my ass off at the stupidity alone! Definitely a Guilty Pleasure flick.
*This was the first DVD that I ever seen add the audience reaction track which adds to the hilarity
I heard that the audience reaction is all good at the beginning, but then for the remainder, there's not a laugh or chuckle.
“Daddy would you like some sausage” has been living rent free in my head since I was 7. I’m almost 28. I’ll never know peace.
I love it they spent about an hour talking about Freddie Got Fingered but didn't explain Freddie getting Fingered.
Yeah that scene with him telling the psychiatrist that "My Father doesn't finger me" lol gold.
"Dad fingers Freddy."
LOL man I love this movie, it's just as funny as most of those comedies from that time: Meet The Parents, Zoolander, Envy, All Adam Sandler movies. It's a classic
@@theconsciousobserver6829 JUST?
AS???
FUNNY???????
They mention it on the full review on twitch, but that scene is so short and pointless that it’s barely worth mentioning
@@TheStranger513 Proud?
@@theconsciousobserver6829 Of what you said? Of course not lol.
The time Tom Green trolled a movie studio 😂. I'm surprised we didn't get a Bad Movie Roast sooner, the Billy&Martin laughs are gonna be flowing today.
Well every time they do a Bad Movie Roast on Twitch, they have a poll to decide on which of the 5 bad movies or 1 selected by Kevin King (Who works for them) to do for this segment and Freddy Got Fingered has been on so many polls but lose out to some of the previous BMR picks, this time it won.
@@gcolbyp that's true, even Nothing But Trouble was on multiple polls before it got a BMR.
Martin doesn't get Tom.. wrong audience
He also trolled the TV stations that aired his talk show the man made trolling his past time
Tom green was ahead of his time he would have killed it on UA-cam in the 2010s lol.
Green is why Adult Swim exists, which is why UA-cam Poops exist, which is why Memes exist. You gotta have Green to have the rest.
@@names_are_uselessEric Andre's pretty much Tom Green for zoomers.
@@names_are_uselessAgain Adult Swim already existed
@@dabunnydabunny1243 disagree, Eric Andre is actually funny and seems likable in real life, unlike Green.
@@d3rrick10493 I agree that Andre's funnier, I just think he fills a very similar niche.
Rip Torn was the best part of the movie ,he was "Us" the viewing audience looking at how absurdly STUPID Tom Green's character actually was with his 5 year old antics of "BACKWARDS MAN and "Daddy would you like some Sausage" I would go nuts too If that was my son,lol
Rip Rip Torn
I'll admit, that part where he yanks Tom Green out of the shower did make me laugh.
Rip Torn was always a fine straight man in comedies.
I love this movie. It’s insane. It’s existence alone is incredible. A studio gave Tom Green millions of dollars to make a movie. I could definitely see this movie just him laughing and saying fu*k it.
Not making it a good experience, dude
I don't care what anyone else thinks - I love this movie as well! I love Tom Green's humor, and I think you have to in order to like Freddie Got Fingered. I crack up just thinking about the movie. :)
Tom Green walked so Eric Andre could run
Whether Freddy Got Fingered is even a film is debatable. It has acting, it has photography in a filmic sequence, and it's set to a film score, and none of it comes together. It's literally white noise passing itself off as a movie
It also has actors who says the lines from a "script"
I believed for years that I'd imagined this movie, but it's indeed real. The baby scene left me traumatised!
Seeing that scene in a theater with a group of people in 2001 was something else.
I can't believe Fox Execs (Tom Rothman included) thought that was comedy gold......
I remember I was really excited to see Freddy Got Fingered because of the scene where Tom Green sings, "Daddy, would you like some sausage?" That scene was the main one that was advertised. Suffice to say, I didn't know that the movie would become one of the worst theater experiences. By the time that scene came on, I was scowling 😂😭
That bit of the trailer was all I ever saw of the movie, and my ten-year-old self thought that sh*t was hilarious! My sister and I used to sing it all the time. The rest of the movie? Glad I never saw it, oof!
I saw it in the theatre and it was one of the best movie experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone was howling with laughter but it was more than that. There was disbelief and an atmosphere of “what the hell is this going to throw at us next”.
I used to watch Ebert & Roeper on TV and I’ll never forget Richard Roeper flat out saying about this movie “Tom Green is a guy that should be flipping burgers somewhere…” and I was like Dang Richard! Tell me how you really feel!
How about him saying, "This is GROUND ZERO for bad comedies"

I IMMEDIATELY clicked when I saw the title, I knew this was going to be a good one 😂
The movie that killed Tom Green's career and ended his relationship with Drew Barrymore.
Good for Drew
Ended his relationship with everything. lol
It didn't though 😂
tom broke up with her not vice versa. This movie did nothing
Tom's doing just fine. Living on a farm, set for life, living the dream. Drews still in Hollywood, working for the soul sucking demons, dancing for nickels.
I saw this as a kid and remembering it being honestly the funniest thing I ever saw...saying it didnt age well is an understatement LOL...
It's aged incredibly well and was ahead of its time. Without Green, Adult Swim likely wouldn't exist.

@@JustinSimpson I may not agree with Martin on a lot of movies, but he always get a laugh out of me.
@@JustinSimpson real wrong
@@ArtVandelayOfficial Nah, Tom seems like a overall nice guy, and now a chilled out version of his younger self. But he is 100% a product of his time. His comedy doesn't at all translate. Very surface level and juvenile. There are 1000s of "Tom Greens" on UA-cam and they are all insufferable. Grown adults acting like toddlers gets stale extremely quick. And I am someone who grew up watching and loving "The Tom Green" show. None of his stuff holds up. lol Which is fine, a lot of media is that way. But its obvious I only thought he was so funny back then because I was 12 when I was watching it. lol
@@YerpDerp17 Well even people that Korey and Billy mentioned in that Overgrown Man Children genre like Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell still have audiences who love those type of movies even if it won’t work for everybody. Look how many people love & quote Step Brothers and Billy Madison. But yeah I agree with Tom Green being a product of its time and while he seems like a cool guy now, back then he was just obnoxious. At least Sandler and Ferrell had some charm to some of their characters.
Daddy do want some sausage? Daddy do you want some sausage? 😂only thing I remember from this movie.
This was my favorite comedy in high school. The Backwards Man was/is my favorite part, also the rocket wheelchair! But I would fast forward the horse and birth scenes...
As someone who works in an adult group home, I believe that's where Gordy truly belongs. But I'd also feel immensely sorry for any staff and clients having to deal with him!
I have to disagree with you there, honestly I don’t think Gordy belongs in a group home he doesn’t have a mental disability or show signs of trauma he’s just a sociopath who enjoys tormenting people with his stupid antics
As disgusting it is even repulsing, you guys made the best roast of bad movies period. P.S. Billy’s laughter is still infectious. 😂
Tom Green was like the realistic property of smashing Robin Williams.and Jim Carry together. You get a broken mess.
There’s a theory that Tom was purposefully trying to tank the movie and the promotion in order to force MTV and Viacom to release him from his contract at the time. It’s not outside the realm of possibility.
And you know there’s a good chance Tommy Wiseau, saw this movie and thought to himself, “I could do that”
All the violent scenes traumatized me back then. Should’ve known better for watching an R rated movie as a kid LMAO.
I remember thinking the backwards man scene was the funniest shit in the world HAHA
WAS THAT A FART AT 27:57
😂😂😂😂
oh god...korey sat through this movie AND had to deal with Tom Green being....Tom Green, immediately afterwards?
he must have the patience of a saint.
The joke of this film was that MTV gave him money to make a movie and he had no idea what he was doing and MTV didn't understand that he would actually troll them. He purposely made the worst movie he could while spending as much as possible just to fuck with MTV.
Geez
That still doesn't make it a good movie. It's just dumb for the sake of dumb and it shows why Tom faded into obscurity as soon as his shtick got even the littlest bit old.
@@d3rrick10493 Roger Ebert once said, “The day may come when Freddy Got Fingered is seen as a milestone of neo-surrealism. The day may never come when it’s seen as funny.” I would replace that last word with "good".
It's still a fucking awful film, congrats Tom Green???
@@JoeChillton it's definitely a secret genius - it's anti comedy and to be honest - an 'anti movie' - You wont see any1 take even 1% of that risk anywhere near hollywood and we havent since. It is crazy and meant to be. It's the extreme opposite to the 'lets test this on audiences and make a movie acceptable' that 99% of all movies function on. The revolutionary influence of tom is also something worth mentioning. Like him or hate him or not care much about him, - the fact is - he ushered in 2 huge parts of what makes up american culture in the entertainment via 1. Reality TV and 2. Crazy anti comedy (adult swim, etc).
And when it comes to funny - this is definitely one of the funniest films i've ever seen. Up to now - im 35 and comedies nowadays cant even make me smirk. This movie had me dying laughing. So to say it isnt funny can be a subjective thing yes but it isnt objective bc many ppl say it's their fav funny movie.

I can say without shame I die laughing at this movie even till this day😂😂

Tom Green was actually married to Drew Barrymore for about 5 minutes back then.
Between Charlie's angels and getting high as fucc; I'm sure they were happy back then.
I’m embarrassed to say that I found this movie hilarious when I was like 15
Ah, Tom Green.
The guy who made believe think I had testicular cancer when I was in my teens. I made a doctor grab my balls. We were both disgusted.
Thank you for that, Tom.
I’m pretty sure Tom Green always knew the movie was awful. He just wanted to see how awful he could make it.
I know I'm in the minority, but as avid viewer of The Tom Green show, I found this movie absurdly hilarious. Shock comedy. I heard someone mention, Tom Green crawled for this type of humor for guys like Tim & Eric and Eric Andre to walk.
As someone newer to the Tom Green experience before that movie, I was already familiar with the Bum song. Even three seconds in, I was "WHEN WILL IT END?!"
This movie is amazing because Tom Green got all the money to make a movie like this and he knew exactly what he was making.
In Gord's "defense" doing the Backwards man thing: At Honeywell aero, they brought in a robot arm, that was handless. I spotted it when heading out for breaks, eventually naming it Handless Andy, then eventually came up with a song about him finding his hands and starting a robot handed band. On the other hand, I actually had a job.
26:05 This movie is a R-rated gory version of a Daffy Duck cartoon now thinking about it XD
4:39 korey launched that doggo into orbit.
I seem to remember an episode of Tom Green's show were he was doing one of his usual stunts but he messed with the wrong dude and got physically attacked. Tom just went off yelling about calling the cops and wanting to sue the guy.... Yeah Tom, thats what you get when you poke a bear.
I like how korey forgot pixie was on him when he stood up.
Tom Green stole that backwards suit gag from Robin Williams’ first episode of Mork and Mindy.

There has been a reevaluation of this film recently. It’s getting some love as an Andy Kaufman style performance art. I understand people hating it, but gotta appreciate that Tom Green went all out.
This is one of y’all’s funniest reviews ever. Definitely top 3!
Six minutes in and this has to be one of the better DT reviews. Good critique so far. Edit: also this review would make a great companion to RLM’s review. Mike thought this film worked well as a parody of absurd gross out comedies
I first saw this a few years back with friends, absolutely baked out of my gourd, and I loved it. The absurdity, Rip Torn's performance, the idea that Tom Green made it terrible on purpose, all of it. Up there with Kung Pow: Enter The Fist when it comes to movies that leave you wondering what the hell you just watched.

Did Tom Green and producers come out and both say Tom Green didn't want to make a movie at all but was forced to, so he just saw how far he could go to waste their money? Then it still broke even somehow.
It's a great film

This is my favorite comedy. I know it sounds like im being pretentious but it really is. There are dark subject matters as humans we wont laugh or even think about. For me the sheer bleakness of the comedy in this movie is enough to make me laugh uncontrolably. Call me crazy but i love this movie
Gene Wilder was considered for The Dad but turned it down. Honestly for the best.
