I'd love to see a series about BF maps which were _almost_ good or great, but held back by one glaring issue, like the Attack Heli on Siege of Shanghai. Feels like it would have endless content from just BF4 alone
This is 100% a future series. Something along the lines of all maps in between, where the things which map otherwise good maps frustrating will be highlighted.
Might be my favorite map of all time. Other than Titans and Walkers, this is what I think of when I hear 2142 with this map and its intro I can never get out of my head. Thank you for this video
What the hell. I thought you had way more subs considering how well put together your videos are. Love these analysis of my favorite fps game series! Been binge watching your worst and best Battlefield maps series and you really deserve a sub for that :) keep up the great work 😇
I love seeing refractor maps in this series. I played this era when I was a kid, so some of the maps I don't remember much about, due to having to sneak in play sessions cuz my dad didn't like games about war. Other maps like Omaha Beach I remember very well because I would play round after round against bots in the middle of the night when the family was asleep lol
Finally another entry of this fantastic series, I find super interesting the refractor engine videos because you can understand better how it was the experience of play it, something that mere gameplay doesn't always show
recently I discovered your channel and I'm in love with it. Amazing content and this best/worst maps of Battlefield franchise are so good. keep with this good work! cheers
"[....]this structure is unique to this map[....]" I find the asset reuse in this map and series overall to be pretty charming but Molokai having the central buildings from Cerbere, Shudia Taiba, Fall of Berlin, Suez Canal, and the Titan wreckage from Liberation of Leipzig along with everything else like the future trenches and such was a little silly.
I find it funny that while the map features "vintage" buildings, and the town of Cerbere exists in real life (it's just on the mediterranean border between France and Spain), the map doesn't look look remotely close to the real thing. Only in that it's built on a slope next to the sea.
I ended up getting most of my medical medals and pins on this map. Especially the healing teammates medal. I feel at the time it was the only map that had enough action to complete it.
@@GravityBFTV can you make a video about the map : "backstab" from BF2:MC? It's a really good map, if it were made today it would be one of the most played maps of all
@@guxtavouz Unfortunately, this is something I cant and wouldnt do anyway. Not only did I barely play BF2MC, and I dont like to analyze maps I have no experience on, but being a console exclusive, I consider it being outside of the main franchise. Even If I wanted to make a video for it, there is no way whatsoever to get clean, decent gameplay footage of it.
I loved 1942s Omaha beach, will it make the good list or the bad list? I was so impressed with the town behind the beach, especially after playing MOH allied assaults version
I've had more fun playing this map against bots than in all BFV and BF2042. It ain't nostalgia too. I haven't played this game when it was new, I played 2142 for first time AFTER BFV's launch.
could you make a video that breaks down battlefield map design over the entire series? I'm working on a multiplayer fps and I could really use the info, and there really isnt that many useful videos on map design for multiplayer fps
The thought of doing a video like that intrigues me, but I just dont have the time to do that at the moment. There are also critical technical aspects of a discussion like that which I am unqualified to speak on.

Its a good day when Gravity drops another vid, best Battlefield youtube channel I've found!

Makes me wish I could’ve experienced this map in its heyday:(
My baby game love that battlefield love that map so much good memories on my first fps

I'm not sure how many girls played this game, but I'm one of them. My name is Sgt Snorkel and I played 18 years ago and I was in a clan named LERP.
Its going to sound wild, but I definitely remember seeing that Tag in multiple BF games a long time ago.

1.3k views and NONE of them liked the vid. What a world we live in *tsk tsk
Omaha Beach from 1942 done right.
This is 100% truth. Expect a Worst maps vid for Omaha eventually.
@@GravityBFTV Best of luck!
