I think this map would be better if some of those buildings could be entered to provide some indoor areas but no roof access (I hate roof camping).

I actually hate this map

BF:V was peak BF for me, hundreds of hours spent playing this game with a big friend group all the way to ranked ladder competitions. The in game radio added so much to the game immersion wise, chinnooking a tank into the centre of a village to drop on a flag with Ride of the Valkyries blaring out was fabulous! Thanks for this vid, fondly remember this game as one of the most enjoyable FPS MP shooters I ever played. BF:BC2 was the closest to the fun this game gave but nothing since has been anywhere near (mainly due to the widespread cheating that kicks in within a month of a release). RIP online shooters it used to be fantastic fun.

Certainly a fun map. Only found it awkward rotating between the A/B and C/D/E flag clusters

Maybe the map is build so big because it was planned as a battle royal map?

I am so glad you also love Rotterdam, it's a fantastic map. It's a genuine feat of level design that they managed to get all those sightlines in without the map becoming impossible to move through

Rotterdam is such a good map. Its been one of my favorites since the Beta, the only thing I wished Battlefield V had more of was an alternate time for these maps. Give us a dawn to sunrise, cloudy mid day to downpour with fog, sunset to twilight. Have all the street lights turn on woth different businesses have their signs lit up or traincars with their lights on. Just make the city feel lived in, the next map in Tactical Conquest is Devastation and it hits just about all that on every level. Overall, the map is top tier in my opinion.

Man, that menu theme music instantly took me back to my middle school days playin bf2142 all night! Pistol/knife only modes on Gibraltar will never be forgotten!

I hope DICE watch these so they know what to avoid for the next BF iteration.

Battlefield 5 was a middlefinger to us, and "Battlefield" 2042 was a straight up ræpe' I have played bf since 1942 with hardline being the only exception. And I'm so done with EA and Dice.

This was the first BF i owned. It changed my life. I spent way too many hours on it and i enjoyed every single one. I still remember it as my favorite BF.

To me heavy metal felt always like it was supposed to be totally different and maybe a bit frustrating. It seemed like the atmosphere was the most important part on that map

Hot take: It is sometimes fun to be a pleb with the boys to soflam from oman rooftops, Dragon pass mountains, sniper from rouge antenna etc. They are also "only in bf moments".

I feel like "bank job" was one of, if not THE first map they thought of when designing this game. Cops and robbers, bank...kinda goes hand in hand, not to mention it feels like they really went all out on this map compared to some others on bf: hardline. Just my opinion though, i could be wrong

Hardline's an underrated gem. I wish people looked past the oddball cops & robbers setting, this game had really fun gameplay aspects, like the "infantry-oriented" gunplay & especially solid maps like Bank Job & Downtown

I miss this game; it was ahead of it’s time. It had the unfortunate reputation of following up BF4, and its smaller scale framing conflicts just didn’t light the fire for most the way it did me. I loved it for that reason exactly.
