I went to “Melitini” today thanks to your recommendation😄 and it was so nice and tasty and the opposite of the tourists trap. So thank you so much for the video and I also recommend going there!
I've just come back from greece , we went to melitini and it was AMAZING . the food is so good , the atmosphere was amazing and relaxed. a lot of couples come here on dates though , so don't bring young kids.
All of the food was good , especially the papoutsakia and the beef with onions (i can't remember what it's called) , but you should 100% try the orange pie , its the best in greece in my opinion (although it's the desert of the day , so they might not have it)

For oia I have been going to the same spot I found in 2008. It was such a nice experience I didn't care to look. I almost always try different places and should try the others on this list. But I have been 4 times to Strogyli.

Hey ! Congrats on the big step !! Any spot of my "secret sunset spots" would do the trick, at any point of the day. Otherwise you could do it at SUNRISE from Oia Castle, or from the beaches of Kamari or Perissa.

We only have 2 nights in Oia book until we move to Fira. I made a reservation to Petra as you recommend that in another video and I thought it looked romantic. However I'm having a hard time deciding which restaurant we should visit the second night? Also one of the days we wanted to go swimming in amoudi bay so i thought I'd be nice to go for lunch at Amoudi fish taverna have you been before? Is tge food any good or is it judt touristy?

Temperature will be around 20 celsius during the day, 15 in the evening (so you need warm clothes for the night !) October usually has 3-4 rainy days, so if you're unlucky it might hit you during your stay, just keep that in mind.

Hi. Do you know if there are any short tours in athens for a 7 hour airport layover ? We land at 7 am from a flight from mykonos and depart at 1 on a flight to canada. Wondering if we have time to see any sites ?
Hi Sandra. If I were you, I'd take the metro, hop off at Monastiraki, walk to the Acropolis, visit the archeological site of the Acropolis and then take the metro back to the airport.

There are no budget hotels with view, with swimming pool in Imerovigli. In Akrotiri you will have better prices, but in Imerovigli definitely not ;-)

How in advance do you make reservations? Same day or day before? Months before? 😃
For lunch, can be the day before.
For dinner, 1 to 3 weeks ahead depending which month you're coming.
