SCARIEST Disney Roller Coaster? Expedition Everest Front Seat on-ride 4K POV Disney’s Animal Kingdom

- Is this Disney’s SCARIEST roller coaster? Forwards, backwards, pitch black, 50mph, a terrifying Yeti all after coming off of the top of a 200ft mountain!
Expedition Everest is THRILLING! Though showing some signs of age ( debuted in 2006) this marvel from Vekoma, costing $100 Million to produce, has to be one of the most intense roller coasters at any Disney park and I absolutely love it!
Have you ridden Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom?

For me, i love sitting in the last row on this ride. I am a retired cast member and got to ride it every night I worked after the park closed.
First time riding, I was fortunate to sit in front. No idea of what to expect and my wife wouldn’t say a word. For not being a huge coaster fan I was a bit freaked for a bit especially when that broken track appeared. It was totally my level of coaster.
One of the coolest ever
Fav roller coaster, went on it 6 times in a row in 2018
Fantastic fun ride
When I went to Disney in 2021, I rode this and it was actually one of my favourite rides there.
Love Everest 🎉❤🎉❤
The fastest but not scary for me would be the Incredicoaster over at California Adventure, at least more excited than this one.
I can’t wait to get back on Incredicoaster tomorrow! Favorite row to ride in??
Nah, that title honestly belongs to Magic Kingdom's version of Space Mountain. Reason being that Space Mountain has really janky transitions and tight clearances, and as a result while the ride is safe it feels like it's going to simultaneously toss you off the track and smash your head into a support simultaneously.
Anyway, looks like you got the B-mode show for the Yeti, A.K.A. the "Disco Yeti". If you're wondering what the whole "mode" thing is, the Yeti animatronic has two modes - A-mode, where it actually moves, and B-mode, where it uses a strobe effect to create the illusion of movement. They've done a lot of work over the years trying to get the Yeti back in working order but it's given them a LOT of trouble. (And before anyone says they'd have to disassemble part of the mountain to fix the Yeti, that's a myth. There are access hatches in the side of the mountain that allow direct access to the ride's mechanics, as well as a couple backstage facilities within it. No basketball court, though, that's inside Matterhorn Bobsleds.)
The scariest part is the lift hill and the part with the end of the track missing
Especially sometimes when the tracks not there!😂💀😂💀
Although I am sure its fun it looks like they spent more on theming than ride itself.
You’re tripping
That's what makes it outstanding.
The drop is pretty sizeable though and the ride pulls good gs in a few places.
Favorite coaster, went on it 9 times
I was such a chicken to do this ride last year because I saw that drop at the base of the summit and my stomach jumped into my throat
Yeah, when are they going to fix the YETI? LOL
the person that promised they were going to fix it sadly left disney, so i doubt it will ever be fixed
I do not seen anything "scary" about this ride, looks like fun. I've been in one that also goes into darkness, but not scary.
This is not scary at all last time I rode it I didn’t even scream.
Only guardians of the galaxy can make me scream
My favorite Disney ride.
Too bad it breaks down soo often.
I went on this 9 times in a row lol
AWESOME!!! Single rider or short queue???
How is this even scary? In 2013 for pride in Florida my friends at the time and myself rode expedition Everest along with pretty much everything and we loved it not scary at all but the funny part was my friends brother rode tower with us at the last minute and we saw the picture of our ride on it and he was holidng the side of the car lol but he handled everything else like a champ
Not riding this again until they fix the Yeti
Lots of people want the Yeti fixed but that would require removing the entire top mountain given how massive the Yeti animatronic is.
Seriously. YAWN . . .
My biggest complaint is it’s all left turns. Variety is so important in coaster design. Sure it looks nice, but it’s not exactly thrilling.
You’re crazy. Everest is a fantastic ride. Especially that first drop backwards into the dark - it pulls some fun gs
@@happymaskedguy1943 I’m definitely not crazy about a roller coaster that Disney’s imagineers could only imagine turning left. You can have it.
Suit yourself.
@@jhagestadwait till you get a look at Twisted Timbers at Kings Dominion. It’s the same thing but only right turns! Ah, the horror!
There are NO scary roller coasters in ANY of the Disney theme parks, at least not in any of the 4 in Florida (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot or Hollywood Studios). They are ALL lame and need to be torn down and have new exciting modern coasters built in their place. Better yet, skip Walt Disney World’s parks altogether because they all suck, and go to Universal Studios instead. Now THAT is a great coaster park. Puts all the Disney parks to shame to the extreme. Disney Parks are completely overrated and not even close to being worth the money.
Ok trumpie
I agree. Fuck Disney. Universal is better. But The new tron coaster is incredible and so is Rock n roller coaster. It’s just too short.
You do know Disney is a children’s theme park?…
If you want a thrill go to Six Flags, Disney parks are more about an immersive experience
