I respect and appreciate your perspective on music, Dave. You have great knowledge and perspective! Honestly though, my enjoyment of you sharing the moment that you experience great music is my absolute favorite part. Awesomeness! Thanks for everything.
I've seen them live twice, if u ever get a chance to see them u should! This song is about drug addiction, the lyrics are awesome. U should give them a read.
if you want a back ground docu about Metallica making a album look at Some Kind of Monster is a music documentary about Metallica's making of their album St. Anger and the difficulties they had to go through in the process. The directors shot over 1200 hours and followed the band around night and day for over a year to create this documentary.
I'm here now, loving it all! Btw, I noticed one thing. I dont think you've reacted to ANYTHING from S&M? It's Metallica live with a bloody ORCESTRA! Try No Leaf Clover first mate :) Just a suggestion, not a demand!
Man your reactions are awesome... someone open minded AND has music knowledge. You're reaction to One by Metallica made me subscribe. It was fantastic. Nice balance of emotion/music etc you really didn't let the video get in the way. I think rap is too boring musically... no change ups... even for a chorus. Eminem had choruses though where the music changed. Just an observation I don't hear people making. Rap puts focus on the lyrics and I don't honestly relate to most of them.
Man I miss you doing these metal reactions. I think you'd really love "Abstract Art" by Born of Osiris. They've got 2 versions of the song and imo the original version on "The New Reign" album is the way to go. That song will blow your damn mind man!
I'd really like to see your take on the lyrics of this song. Usually you're breaking down the lyrics to get to the meaning behind the song. This one's about drug addiction, and the lyrics are so obvious when read.
I am aware that there are/were better versions of this song I could have reacted to. Still amazing!
umm there are so many great versions there is no possible way to decide on just one. PERFECT review to a complex song about drugs ruling Your life
try the version with Symphonic orchestra of san francisco
@@aixmhros symphony metallica ....." no leaf clover s&m2" vid

For Metallica at their most insane live you have to react to ‘battery’ live in Seattle 1989. You won’t regret it!
This was my first album that I bought from mowing lawns when I was 10 years old. I listened to it all summer long almost 24/7.
Before you could listen for free on the internet. Those were the days. Metallica never played on the radio until "One".
I always love coming back to this vid and taking in your reaction! It's NOT often you hear a stadium full of people "sing" a guitar solo!
lesson for today. NEWER PAUSE DURING METALLICA SOLO.
He knows. It's an old video that he just uploaded again. He's learned since then lol

You had me at MOP live....couldn’t click fast enough. Give Seattle’89 a shot. You won’t be disappointed.
Master of puppets
Is a masterpiece of the ages
Veridical.

OMG never stop the video during THE SOLO!!!!!!!
NEVER! NEVER! Never Stop in Kirk's Soloooos! *sang in the melody of Master! Master*
Don't worry! Kirk is "rapping" his guitar one more time! Business as usual! :)
Going to see them for my 14th time on Aug 29th!!!
Lucky!!! I've only seen them 5 times, plus once with monsters of rock.
Anyone else pissed that they barely showed Kirk when he was doing the solo

they had the lyrics folded behind the cover of the cassettes..
thats how we learned 'em into 3-4 hours ,max!
You gotta do some 80s live shows my man!
1:42 - 1:45 I think your talking about Robert Trujillo

These guys are awesome live to this day. Besides the occasional Lars fuck up they still shred.
dude please react to battery by metallica. You'll love it!!
I hate when live videos don't show the guitar player playing the solo, when he's the one working the hardest at the moment 😑
you havent lived until you have been to a metallica concert
Fucking so good aren't they pal
As the Man himself says, Metallica is a "higher power", that works though them according to some dizzy Providence.
Perhaps Dionysus, cheers.🍻
(The frontman James)
Where was this performance guys?

Battery from 89
Is this a reupload or just a new video?
Re upload.
If you think this is great.... watch the 89 version. Live shit:binge and purge.
Dont even react to it. Watch it for yourself so you see the awesome.
im suggesting you to not stop mid solo while listening to rock and metal,
its regarded as a sin by some people and they won't hold back roasting you
