I love these types of movies. Where the story both begins and ends on the same day. It just makes for more realistic cinema.
3:04 guy in the back was about to laugh so the other guy tapped him cause he's about to ruin the whole scene lmao
Wrong. That's scripted. You can see they're both laughing. Why? Because they despise Alonzo. What would you do if you saw someone you loathe be shot in the arse? You'd probably laugh.
@@Jimbo8012 idk man it looks off script to me tho. He even trynna hide his laugh cuz he doesn't wanna get caught

@@leannemcfaul9333 killing is never "good" but doesn't make it unnecessary.
For years, I’ve been a Denzel Washington fan. This is just another reason to admire his acting ability.
When alonzo gets shot in the ass, there's a homie bursting of laughter in the back 😂!

This is the scene that came to mind when McGregor went on his rant while he was on the canvas with his leg broken still talking shit to Poirier.

Just like Rousey. Won big, talked big, fell hard.
Yea Connor has loud lips.can you fight with a snapped leg.doubt it.connor will inhialate him next time .100%
Think Connor took his injury well tbh...Time will tell
This might be weird but I really like the the instant where he grabs the smokes instead of the gun. That little scene switch there is good
Yeah it was a good touch lol not many people mention it.

"They're not like you. You know what I learned today?.. I'm not like you."
"That's good jake im glad to hear that"
I see a lot of people with no acting skills hating on Ethan's performance. This is why normal people who don't understand how people act in situations shouldn't be critics.
It has to genuinely be said that Training Day is truly one of the greatest films ever made. Powerhouse believable performances all round. Absolutely incredible.
One of those timeless films👏🏼😍😍Denzel was insanely good. Versatile actor for sure💯
One of so many outstanding movies ETHAN AND DENZEL wow magnificent as always.
Hawke played the villain in 'Brooklyn's Finest with the same fate.
Underrated fire ass movie
Really?
Bone Was Also In That Movie Too
Oh shit..never seen that one

Washington's acting was so unbelievably realistic.
Never forget, this man took a 45 to the ass and was still standing…😂
Ikr!!!. How??
It was a 9mm..not a 45.
Cop Issue .45 Baretta he shows it at the beginning when Denzel asked if he was holding...

I always found the delivery of "thats good jake, I'm glad to hear that" so good. it kinda emphasises how alonzo couldn't care less about anything beyond himself. his eyes too, you can see even before he starts to panic the real fear in his eyes, denzel is something else
Man that scene is amazing but also hilarious, the way the guys in the back are laughing their a** off after that shot 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I Think the same ..ajajajaja ajajajaja funny 🤣

I always thought it was funny how the badge flipped backwards on its own at 1:08. Guess Alonzo got too deep in criminal activities that it’s literally become nothing more but a piece of metal.
Which it is.
Arguably the best ending scene in any movie. Ever. Period. 1:58-2:07
The symbolism of this scene is just so good. Everything each character does, every piece of blocking, has a meaning and a purpose and represents something. It's just so good.
I'll be honest. This is one of the most memorable movie ad placements that I can recall
Denzel really played his role here. Class +++ A acting.
Great ending one things I learned from this movie if you an bad cop don't ever hang around an good cop don't matter how cool they are
Nigga you everywhere
That man earned his Oscar... GOAT!
The fact Denzel improvised this scene speaks volumes to his legendary career in the movie industry. He’ll forever be the best to ever do it.
Both of them won Oscars for this film roles. Very real, raw, gratifying
Ethan was nominated but did NOT win
I like how the badge he puts around his neck turns itself around like "nah bruh, im not with this fake ass cop"
good catch and noticed the badge turned around twice lmao
The badge felt betrayed and ashamed so it hid its face 😂
I’ve heard people say this film ain’t that good ! I think it’s brilliant
Their just being some haters.
So amazing on both parts such well acted parts and we all know it doesn't take anything to kill somebody
Took notice of both these stellar actors with this film. Great director!
“ you can’t do it . Somebody drop this fool for me “ is equivalent to “ Raheems dead , somebody shot him “ 😂😂😂
Such a masterpiece
Great film and a great piece of acting by both actors 👌
The ethic transcends the ethnic!
FAFO. It's what's for dinner.
"they're not like you". I love that. Even though they are "gangstas" they follow a code. Alonzo was a cowboy. didn't follow nothing but himself. His ego got him killed.
And what exactly is that code lol? You acting like they have honor or something?
@@Jackholiday1025
They chose their path whereas Alonzo was juggling both lives

The reaction of the background character always gets me 😂
He broke character and you see the other patting him on the back as if to say: "dude, stop laughing".
Probably his first movie he's ever acted on... But was so into the dialogue of what Denzel is saying probably wasn't expecting the gunshot... So he was probably kind of embarrassed because he got scared as if it was a real gunshot, forgetting that it's just a blank gun shot
Crazy thing is Denzel improvised 90 % of this movie
DENZEL IS ABSOLUTELY MESMERIZING IN THIS SCENE,,,INCREDIBLE!!!!🎤🎤🎤🔥🔥🔥👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑👑
Denzel is legit playing the Joker right now lol.
He would be the only black joker I would pick

The way he looks at Jake when he lights that cigarette up always kills me idk why 😂
2:20 was such a suspenseful moment as an audience. We see a frame of the gun on the floor, and Denzel bends over. Then the cigarettes refocus. Crazy stuff
