The Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel is a modern, luxury hotel in southern Taiwan that offers excellent value regardless of room type. Rooms are spacious, modern, and functional. The amenities are plentiful and of high quality. This property exceeded my expectations and I really enjoyed my stay. Their M9 Buffet Restaurant is definitely worth trying. I highly recommend booking this hotel if you are staying in Kaohsiung for business or leisure.

Quick question -- the couches in the grand executive suite, are they sofa beds or just regular sofa couches?
If they're just regular sofa couches, do you know if it'd be comfortable enough for kids to sleep on?
(We're a family of 4, considering this suite to stay in)
Hi. I remember the couches being regular couches, not convertible to beds. The Kaohsiung Marriott website quotes the Grand Executive Suite’s maximum capacity at 2 and says “sofa” in the list of furniture, rather than “sofa bed” like in other hotels’ descriptions.
I thought the couches were comfortable. Although there is only one long couch and one arm chair, so it would be tricky to sleep two children with that configuration. My suggestion would be to ask if they can bring an extra bed to the room but the Marriott Kaohsiung Grand Executive Suite website has some confusing wording about rollaway beds, “Rollaway beds not permitted
Cribs permitted: 1
Maximum cribs/rollaway beds permitted: 1”
